Wicked Whims doesn't work!?!

I've downloaded WW before on the same pc and I deleted it a while back, so I am familiar with the process. But I decided to do a completely fresh install after installing the new update for TS4. WW doesn't come up on the script/ mod list in the settings. I've extracted it correctly, made sure that it is in the MODS folder and there is no replica files in the folder either. I downloaded BD absolutely fine and that runs perfectly.

Also, just to add, I do have animations downloaded too, I've deleted it and reinstalled them all 3 times and still have no idea what the issue is. Can anyone help please? Tysm x

If you don't see the purple Wicked Whims notification when you load your household it means WW isn't loading into game.

Go into game settings/other and make sure you have both Mods and Scrips boxes enabled.

Check installation of WW to make sure it's only one folder deep in Mods

Like Mods/WickedWhimsMod (only 2 files in here named TURBODRIVER, one script and one package)

If you have Windows MS OneDrive installed it can prevent WW and some other mods from not loading or working correctly.

Easiest is to just uninstall it through Windows Add/Remove Programs.

If you have other mods/cc installed try removing everything except WW + Animations and test in game.

I've checked everything multiple times and unfortunately its still not working. I am using an external hard drive atm and all my sims stuff is on there, would that affect it? Also, I've deleted OneDrive and that hasn't fixed it :/

I'll try to explain further...

If you installed the Game files to a different drive other than the default C drive using the Origin/EA installer then it's just the EA game files and EP's that are stored there.

(Or that's all that should be installed there anyway)

But your Sims working folder with Mods, Saves, Tray, etc. must be in C:/User Name/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4

If Mods are installed on your external drive some might still work but some will not load.

I've seen cases where ppl have had Mods installed in the wrong location and also having two Mods folders in two different locations.
