That damned neck seam

Alright everyone. I've installed UNPB BBP and Hello Santa's great textures, but I'm having a problem with neck seam.

First of, I tried to just change body to Fair Skin with additional patching it up with Svarog's Texture Blender. The result was not satisfactory enough because there was this damned neck seam clearly visible (close to the one on the photo). Then I changed both face and body textures to Fair Skin, patched it, but the neckseam was still clearly visible. Since I prefer SG Female Textures I reverted the changes and went back to Hello Santa's both body and face textures, but the damned neck seam is sitll here. How do I get rid of it or just make it way less visible like on the photos posted here on forum?

It may just be that the textures are slightly off color.

not all textures are compatible, even if intended to be used together, due to: human error, color perception, texture mishaps on the mesh itself, enb presets, and a whole bunch of other things.

I'm sure there is a variation of Caliente's texture blender for unp somewhere on LL or the nexus if you want to not even think of human error.  But that may just be it.  Not everything can be perfect.

Sorry if i am vague.  I need to lay down.

Yeah, I don't use ENB myself, but from what I've seen the seam should not be that visible. Also in the user added images gallery for SG Textures people have no problems with neither of textures.

Okay, after spending few hours browsing the forum I have finally got rid of that damn seam. I'm thinking of making a tutorial as I have not seen any.

I also had the damn neck seam issue when I tired to combine HHaley's fair skin complexion with the Ningheim race(also uses the Hellosanta's SG textures), the author of "unp texture blender" SvalrogNL says it doesn't work for custom race, but after searching and reading some forum posts, I found it's not exactly that way.

Here is what I did to solve the problem:

#1. Back up the entire "character" folder under the data/textures/actors.

#2. put the fair skin complexion textures into the ningheim race female texture folder, which should be located in "data/textures/actors/characters/ningheim/female", overwrite everything.

#3. Now delete everything in the data/textures/actors/characters/female, then copy the Ningheim female texture with fair skin complexion files into the folder you just emptied.

#4. Now run the "UNP texture blender-fair skin", do everything as the author instructed.

#5. After you are done blending, move the files in "data/textures/actors/characters/female" to the ningheim female texture folder.

#6. Use the backup files you made in step #1 to copy the female textures in "actors/characters/female" back to the game folder "data/textures/actors/characters/female".

#7. Done! Fire up the game and check if the neck seam is gone.

In my case, I can't find any neck seam issue no matter how I look at it, even after I zoom right to the neck using consoles, I still don't spot any seam. By the way, I am using UNPB BBP body in the test, should work for any UNP based body. Hope this helps.
