Crash after loading/starting new game.

Hi guys,

I have installed Oblivion yesterday, I tried to follow tutorial http://www.loverslab.com/topic/8893-installation-guide-with-lovers-mbp-and-wyre-with-bashed-patch/ and I get crashes right after starting new game or loading older savegames. Please, help me with this problem, I don't want to reinstall the game . Unfortunately, I haven't got any backups becuse of not enough space on hdd. Here's my load order:

The load order is kinda iffy. I'd suggest following http://www.loverslab.com/topic/23-quick-installation-guide/ for an example.

 

As for other possibilities; make a backup of your ini file and delete the one in the MyGames folder, and try to load Oblivion again. If it doesn't work try deactivating some mods and testing again until you find the culprit. I'd try deactivating Breakarmor.esp first, and then the DLC's unofficial patches.

Move your break armor esp up above your lovers files.

Well, I deleted files in My Games folder, disabled Break Armor esp and still nothing. Oblivion keeps crashing after starting new game. I will try to disable all lovers mods and then MBP files. Here ' s mod list from Wrye bash Active Mod Files:

I have never heard of this plugin.  Check that you have all required items for this.

 

 

Finally, make certain you are starting the game with obse_loader.exe (if you are a steam user then you don't do this but you have separate instructions you have to follow).

!Oblivion_PL.esp is just translation patch for Oblivion to my native language . I'm using the newest obse (version 21). I disabled this SSSB thing but still prbolem occurs

The current version of OBSE is 20. 

The obse release web page is here: http://obse.silverlock.org/

 

Any other version of OBSE is a beta and I don't recommend using beta versions if you are not an experienced modder.

 

Try disabling the translation patch and see if that helps you start a new game.

Well, there is a progress. I can load my clean save but still no crash when I start new game. Anyway, thanks for help I can play Oblivion again

 

 

EDIT: Damn, game keeps crashing when I get out of the shop

i suppose you have installed obse plugins the last one like elys & pluggy & menuq just to cheque your version as they can and may crash in start up.

I could live without starting a new game, but guy in a shop on my clean save is missing his torso... Game crashes when I get out of the shop. What could cause this?

you have certainly missing files

 

if i can suggest go to your obmm in the utilities you have something about savegame (sorry about not being precise"memory") on the poping window you can click on your save and see the esp link(green) or unlink (red) like this you will know what mod is missing that may creat a crash not for sure    and check your (update)plugins.

 

 

did you install all the data file from uop

KingKong is referring to Wrye Bash and not OBMM.  Other than that try what he is saying.

I reinstalled Oblivion and now everything is working properly Thanks for help guys, now I'm much smarter with wrye bash and other strange things  

 

BTW, I installed creatures sexual organs, but I can see no change

Creatures sexual organs has to be merged into your bashed patch and left disabled.

It is the ONLY lovers plugin that you can have in your bashed patch.
