chivaleroncross Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Good day everyone, and thanks for spare your time for looking and help in this thread. I'm always experiencing CTD especially in Exterior or even while looting both exterior and interior. I'm thinking it might be script issue, but I'm not pretty sure. Here's my active mods: GameMode=Skyrim Skyrim.esm=1 Update.esm=1 Dawnguard.esm=1 HearthFires.esm=1 Dragonborn.esm=1 ApachiiHair.esm=1 RaceCompatibility.esm=1 Ank_Castle_Main.esm=1 SkyMoMod.esm=1 SPIKE.esm=1 WARZONES - Civil Unrest.esm=0 XFLMain.esm=1 SexLab.esm=1 HighResTexturePack01.esp=0 HighResTexturePack02.esp=0 Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp=1 RaceCompatibilityUSKPOverride.esp=1 Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp=1 Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp=1 Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp=1 Chesko_Frostfall.esp=1 ExpandedJewelryCrafting.esp=1 Portable Campsite.esp=0 SkyMoMod_lists.esp=1 RaceMenu.esp=1 RaceMenuPlugin.esp=0 SkyUI.esp=1 AsharaPrinceOfTheWoods.esp=1 BlackSacramentArmor.esp=1 Cloaks.esp=1 Crossbows_Basic_Collection_EN_LL.esp=1 Daedric Extra Armor.esp=0 Dovahkiin Mercenary Armor and Weapons UNP.esp=1 Elewin Jewelry.esp=1 ExtendedVanillaWeapons.esp=1 geralt_ravenarmor_v02b.esp=1 HentaiNightmareArmor.esp=1 HentaiVoidArmor.esp=1 HentaisJamellaArmor.esp=1 HentaisTemplePlateArmor.esp=1 hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp=1 JoOsSkyrimKnightlyArmory.esp=1 JSwords.esp=0 KCEAssaultRifles.esp=0 LBClosetMagician.esp=1 lolilabs.esp=1 MashupUNP.esp=1 Nicoroshi Creations.esp=1 NightmareByNausicaa.esp=1 R18Pn - Torumekian Armor.esp=1 R18Pn - Ritter Armor - Heavy.esp=1 Schwertleite Set.esp=1 Shields_of_the_northern_kingdoms.esp=1 Sovngarde Steel Armor and Weapons.esp=1 TH3WICK3D1-GreyWardenArmor.esp=1 TH3WICK3D1-HawkeMageArmor.esp=1 TH3WICK3D1-NorthernKingdomsHeavyPlate.esp=1 The Bard's Honour.esp=1 Tribunal Maskes by Zairaam.esp=1 Tribunal Robes by Zairaam.esp=1 VickysArmor.esp=1 W2_HelmetPack.esp=1 W2_HelmetPack-2.esp=1 WeaponsOf3E.esp=0 Witch Elf Armour.esp=1 zz_GDRAHoods.esp=1 Dr_Bandolier.esp=1 HarvestOverhaulDawnguardDragonborn.esp=1 DeadlyDragons.esp=1 ank_castle_addon.esp=1 Headtracking.esp=1 Immersive Weapons.esp=1 make inferno.esp=1 SMEssentialPlayer.esp=1 xvisionchildren.esp=1 YChildren of the Sky.esp=1 Realistic Lighting.esp=0 Realistic Lighting Patcher.esp=0 Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp=1 Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Dawnguard Interiors.esp=1 Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Exteriors.esp=1 Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.esp=1 Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Minor Cities and Town Interiors.esp=1 RLO - Adaptive Interiors Vanilla Weathers Patch.esp=1 dovahkiinrelax.esp=1 FNISspells.esp=1 Artifact Disenchanting.esp=1 Artifact Disenchanting - Dawnguard.esp=1 Artifact Disenchanting - Dragonborn.esp=1 Enchanting Freedom.esp=1 FormsEdit.esp=1 The Dance of Death - Ultimate Edition.esp=1 Beards.esp=1 Brows.esp=1 LovelyHairstyles.esp=1 numenume Hair.esp=1 MissAniThrope and chakaru11's C Eyes.esp=1 XFLDialogue.esp=1 XFLPlugins.esp=1 XFLHorses.esp=1 AshenFollowers.esp=1 SRIlta.esp=1 SRKirsikka.esp=1 SRMaisa.esp=1 Companion_Ria.esp=1 Companion_Sooji.esp=1 CerwidenCompanion.esp=1 EnhancedCharacterEdit.esp=0 Bashed Patch, 0.esp=0 The Ningheim.esp=1 Hair pack -Allhairs-.esp=0 DeadlyMutilation.esp=1 IllDanceForYouEng.esp=0 IllDanceForYouRus.esp=0 SexLabMatchMaker.esp=1 Kawaii followers.esp=1 SexLab Romance.esp=1 HarvestOverhaulCreaturesDawnguardDragonborn.esp=1 Nightmare.esp=1 Unique Dragon Priest Masks.esp=1 UNP Airy Belted Dress.esp=1 NewmNecklaces.esp=1 Troll Hunter Armor by Hothtrooper44.esp=1 AesirArmor.esp=1 I have updated my latest driver and surprisingly when I doing default graphic it goes to Ultra High, my PC's specifications are:WIN 7 - 32BitAMD HD5700Processor AMD 4130 Quad-coreRAM 8Gigaalso I've patched the Skyrim .exe into 4GB patcher. I hope don't miss something here to be mention that might aid you for discovering my issue. Thank you.
Rayblue Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 1.) Have you got the vanilla .ESM masters (except skyrim.esm) cleaned with TES5edit, and used BOSS to sort out the mods? 2.) That extra 8gb of memory would've been better used with 64-bit Win7 -- makes Skyrim run better. 3.) You don't need to use the 4GB tweak to skyrim.exe today, as the recent updates now include official support for 4gb and above.
chivaleroncross Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 TES5Edit? Oh my, havent done that, in fact I'll do it now. Yes I always use boss to sort the mods One more could this TES5Edit helping me from having missing textures/messed up textures from certain NPC/PC in Interior area? Every time I entered tavern or interior with numbers of NPC around my skin got messed up or even black.*EDIT*Is this the TESVEdit? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25859/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D25859&pUp=1
Rayblue Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 *EDIT* Is this the TESVEdit? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25859/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D25859&pUp=1 Yes. Initially you have to clean the master vanilla/DLC .esms. When run on your loadlist, BOSS will warn you of some mods that are known to have "dirty" issues, and thus provide a link to a tutorial on how to clean them (as there are some mods that haven't been properly cleaned by their authors before uploading -- examples of such mods include custom player homes, quests, and anything that tweaks the worldspace, especially those touching the navmesh or static objects). I also have to think twice about using heavily-scripted mods, as they may come into conflict with other scripts, or if improperly programmed could cause gamesave bloat or CTDs.
chivaleroncross Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 Okay so I have downloaded the TESVedit, and I did found several "Dirty" mods :Update.esmDawnguard.esm HearthFires.esm Dragonborn.esm WARZONES - Civil Unrest.esm Cloaks.esp Active Crossbows_Basic_Collection_EN_LL.esp hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp JoOsSkyrimKnightlyArmory.espRealistic Lighting Overhaul - Dungeons.esp Realistic Lighting Overhaul - Major City Interiors.espRealistic Lighting Overhaul - Minor Cities and Town Interiors.espEnchanting Freedom.esp The Dance of Death - Ultimate Edition.espHowever I'm also noted For Update.esm: Load Skyrim.esm and Update.esm, but only clean Update.esm. For Dawnguard.esm: Load Skyrim.esm, Update.esm, and Dawnguard.esm but only clean Dawnguard.esm. For Hearthfires.esm: Load Skyrim.esm and Hearthfires.esm but only clean Hearthfires.esm and some rules of Do and Don't for doing cleaning. To be honest I'm quite confused. I ain't start to clean until I understand which is should I do cleaning first. Please help*EDIT*Err.. never mind, I did some cleaning after thoroughly reading and careful instruction
chivaleroncross Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 Oh great It's still didn't work I cleaned up all those dirty with TESVedit, yet still got crashed, even I'm doing fresh new game.Crash right after Ralof says: ..you trying to across the border right?*Bam..*Any other sollution?
lidowxxx Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Try to uncheck every esp, esm(besides update.esm, dawnguard.esm, dragonborn.esm, hearthfire.esm), start a new game, then check if the crash still happens.
chivaleroncross Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 I think I found it as "Out of Memory Issue" my 4GB patch didn't give much help. Especially went I through some places with some companions and smithing with tons of moded items. How to solve this out of memory issue? Typing PCB dont help. Should I change to Win-64, instead my Win-32?
lidowxxx Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 4GB patch won't do anything but harm because previous update(can't remember exactly which update) from bethesda already included that, as Rayblue already said. If you are running the latest 1.9 skyrim, it's definitely not needed. Switching to 64-bit windows won't do anything either, because skyrim is a 32 bit application, which means it can only take up to around 3.2 GB memory, adding extra memory may help to improve the general game stability if you are running your system with only 2-3GB RAM, but if you already have 4GB memory, you shouldn't worry about this. I would suggest you focus more on your graphic card if you already rule out the possibility that it's mod(s) that caused you to CTD, as HD5700 is really a low end card by today's standard, tone down your game settings, reduce some details, get rid of some graphical enhancement mods that stress your system, and you may end up having a more stable game.
Rayblue Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Any high-res textures will eat up video memory. OP, you may have to turn on Papyrus script logging just to know what or which mod could have screwed up the looting system; open up skyrim.ini with Notepad in the My Documents\My Games\Skyrim folder and then below [Papyrus] add these lines: bEnableLogging=1 bEnableTrace=1 bLoadDebugInformation=1
chivaleroncross Posted May 30, 2013 Author Posted May 30, 2013 Ahhhh so that's why every my companion have apachii hair will cause crashing?Okay I will add that soon, anyway after I put that command at papyrus, what will I expect? Sort of reports maybe?
Rayblue Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Ahhhh so that's why every my companion have apachii hair will cause crashing? Okay I will add that soon, anyway after I put that command at papyrus, what will I expect? Sort of reports maybe? With logging enabled, the engine will record buggy scripts or dump memory stack errors. Since the focus here is CTDs while attempting to loot, there might be a bug with any of the scripts... could be a conflict or more. I decided against using high-resolution texture packs because of my video card's small memory, so in most cases I use a texture optimizer in order to get more memory.
Aleanne Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 One more could this TES5Edit helping me from having missing textures/messed up textures from certain NPC/PC in Interior area? Every time I entered tavern or interior with numbers of NPC around my skin got messed up or even black. Missing/black textures could mean that you don't have enough RAM available. chivaleroncross Posted June 1, 2013 Author Posted June 1, 2013 THANK YOU EVERYONE! Now I'm also against those high textures ,or HD Textures..
