LustGaner
Hi. I am new on vx but I used 7.5 for a long time and before it was 7.5 so. IDK where to put this ask and sorry if I am doing it bad but I just wanted to know if someone can explain me why some of rooms I add are dark? like. lights off. or the light is outside but inside the room is all off Example: If I take the model out of the room the lightning in her body is normal and sees very beauty but in some rooms this happens Edited September 24, 2021 by LustGaner Link to comment

Looks like it's a Hook 5 issue. If you use Hook, rooms require a "level definition" that sets up the lighting etc. I'm guestimating you get the default settings if no level definition can be found. Daspex
I have not much knowledge about h5 but if the rooms are too dark if im using it i edit the mainfx file in the games binary folder .Zou can set different light values in there and add daylight, night and other predefined bitmaps to the default scene. If you take a look into the file youll see what i mean. RidSol
In H5 the basic lighting is defined via main.fx and _level_definition in the room in activemod. In H5 Basic you have to edit the lines by hand and reload them (alt + R) In main.fx these are cubemap = _hook5data \ envmaps \ garage.dds - for the customizer and cubemap = _hook5data \ envmaps \ EveningField.dds - for the default room ... In _level_definition for the activemod-room this is - cubemap = _hook5data \ envmaps \ sunsetsea.dds The .dds files are just examples and it is assumed your _hook5data folder is in activemod... You can have a couple of envmaps (if you don't already have them) at Mega (42 mb) Edited September 24, 2021 by RidSol Link to comment
