Sims 3 Steam key

Hello, i encountered a problem when i was asked by the EA site to register my copy of the game with a key.

Though, i have none. Steam did not store a key and i tried the registry and some tips on Steam.

This is, if you want to register via the website. In the game, i can access the EA site.

Now i just wonder, if this is a quirk of sorts with the EA site or something else.

I can assure you that i bought my copy on Steam. You can look it up on Steam with my username.

Its just annoying that i can not access the website to download some basic structures.

Since i only have the base game, maybe i will buy it via Origin when they are on sale.

Normally, they key would be available in the Steam page of the game, but there is no information about it. So i am really disappointed about it.

Okay, I have no idea about Sims games or EA. But for any product with a key acquired through Steam you can view it by doing right click in the game title, select "Manage" and check the "CD keys" available. Not sure if you already tried that, but that's the intended way to get that info for the products on your Steam account. Other than that I would recommend spending a couple of minutes checking the support section of Steam (if you don't have access to that CD keys option) or EA (if you already have that key but still can't register the product in their web) and maybe send a support ticket, before giving more money to companies who think product keys are a good idea on 2021.

Thanks for the reply.

Sadly, there is nothing. I think contacting the support is my only option at the moment.

Yes, its true about giving money. But sometimes i feel, it may be better to use their platform instead of Steam. I had a somewhat bad experience with Rockstar in that regard.
