Face mesh problems, need help please.

I've attached a screenie from my game, ALL of the vanilla race faces look like they have 2 faces overlapped and I can't locate the problem. Here is my load order. Thanks in advance for any help, new to modding but trying to learn.

This is the first thing I noticed... you should use [.spoiler][./spoiler] (remove the periods from in the brackets for it to work) when posting your load order or large pics or anything to help non-junk up peoples screens.

 

As for your issue, I scanned through your mods quickly and noticed that your a bunch of overhaul and beauty mods along with race replacer mods aswell. This typically isnt an issue as long as you have them in the proper load order. All your mods that add a new race or alter the vanilla races should be above the beautification mods. Basically, your rule of thumb for every type of mod that works with or tries to replace something else in game is, the mod you want to see in the game should be moved to the lowest portion of your load order. Oblivion works as what loads last is what you will actually see the most in the game.

You can try BOSS to get a basic Idea but I recommend removing your race mods and beautification mods, then one by one adding them and checking in game which one causes this issue. You might not even need all of those specific mods anyways.

2. Move ALL lovers esm's to the bottom of the esm's and all lovers esps to the bottom of the esp's per the load order shown in the txt file at the bottom of the 1st post: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=3

 

Notice per the above load order info that xeosp++.esp must be last in your load order. For your own general info load order work on a over riding basis (in other words if there are conflicts then the lowest one in the load order "wins".

 

Also with that many mods you really need to consider getting Wrye Bash if for nothing else but its "bashed patch" feature. Don't be intimidated by it as there as there is a pictorial walk-through on how to use it over at the nexus (wyre bash is at the nexus as well). Wyre's bashed patch will help to "smooth over" these conflicts and will also "merge" together quite a few of the esp's which will help with stability.

 

Once you have at least used Boss and then hand sorted your lovers files per the load order faq then holler if you have further issues and we can help further sort your load order.

What you have is an incompatibility between face meshes and face textures (main texture and/or aging textures). Also, you have googly eyes.

I highly suspect that Vanilla Race Overhaul conflicts with MBP, considering they both do the same thing.

 

Try to remove Vanilla Race Overhaul and reinstall MBP to overwrite the mesh & textures files.

 

Also, sort your load order with BOSS, move your bashed batch down, rebuild it and make sure lovers animation files load last (what gregathit said).

The vanilla race overhauls are fine (I use them too) as long as they are towards the top of you load order so that MBP can overwrite as it needs to and then all of them collapsed into your bashed patch. The exception is Xeo. It needs to be at the very bottom of your load order - this will avoid any "googly" eyes.

 

Remember not to include lovers stuff in your bashed patches!!!
