I get a message saying "seems to be not human()" when I try to use SL animations of some Mod followers.

My first guess is that your followers are probably not a standard race and/or use a nonstandard skeleton and so SexLab does not see them as NPCs.

I was thinking that was the problem but wasn't sure how to check for it. From what I've read while looking for solutions was that maybe something like editing it in SSEEdit might help. They say something like going in and changing races might work with that or is there something else to it? Or is it just not possible to fix with simple means?

I think I got. The custom skeletons stop it from working. I just need to convert a custom race to CBBE. Thanks for helping go in the right direction.
