CTD on death by "Dead NPC Body Cleaner Remover"?

The mod in the title offers some dead body clean up options via an inventory item. I had set it so that fire(Fire spells) can burn a dead body to remove it. I found out that it affects the PC too, causing a CTD on death as long as the source of the fire(For example any enemies) fulfills the requirements I had set(Be close to the body).

Every time I CTD after death, I always notice the following lines in my logs :

    [Active effect 49 on  (00000014)].MAG_Immolation_Script.OnDying() - "MAG_Immolation_Script.psc" Line 38
[09/09/2021 - 09:43:35PM] Error: Cannot call SetAngle() on a None object, aborting function call
stack:
    [Active effect 24 on  (00000014)].MAG_Immolation_Script.OnDying() - "MAG_Immolation_Script.psc" Line 38

Further, when I make sure to not die near an enemy that uses fire spells, these lines are missing and of course I don't CTD.

I don't know much at all about reading logs nor do I really understand what's going on in there, so I'd like someone to confirm my theory. If I'm correct, I'd also like to know how to completely remove it. I tried the usual Save cleaning process suggested(Using ReSaver), obviously I've also disabled and deleted Dead NPC Body Cleaner, but it seems to have had no effect. I'm wondering if it is baked into that Save now...

Unfortunately, no one can using the papyrus log. For technical reasons the papyrus log lags behind the game action. As a result, those things that are the immediate cause of a CTD can not be found on a papyrus log. That said, both of your assumptions (that the mod mentioned caused it and that it is now baked into the save) appear valid.

I'd recommend starting a new game without the offending mod and see if that doesn't solve your problem. If you want to "clean up" dead bodies let me recommend using the console. The command

markfordelete

will remove whatever you have chosen as soon as you leave the cell. I have used this many times to get rid of a dead body that the game wants to leave lying around. It's also handy on those ash piles that are left after dead bodies have been reanimated and destroyed.

Lastly, SexLabArousedRedux has an option in its McMenu that allows you to set how long a dead body remains. It does not sound like this is immediate enough to suit your desires but it is another option.

X_x RIP! So those lines I specifically mention are from that mod? On one hand I hate being right, right now... Especially about it being baked into my Save. On the other, at least it's not a complicated matter or conflict.

I'm aware of the command- The reason I used the mod wasn't that I wanted bodies cleaned up fast, just faster than base Skyrim rates, mostly to improve stability and performance. I'd heard that after a while, too many bodies can affect those. I also wanted a more immersive option for the rare occasions when I'd like to remove them manually.

That last bit about SL AR is news to me- Is that what the purging option does? I haven't noticed any other sliders related to cleaning dead bodies, and the wording seems to imply that SL AR will just stop taking those bodies into account, not that it will get rid of the bodies literally.

The lines are not from my mod

Mod info baked into a save is expected and normal.  Best practice is to start a new game without the mod or at lest load a save before the mod was installed.
