Hi guys!

Well i have a little bit problem with DMRA conversion of bisquits real high heels, the feet seem smaller than legs which make the glitch as you see in the picture, and only this high heels have this problem! all other high heel mods fit the leg very good...

i wanted to know if everyone got this glitch or is it the version i got? if its me, can someone direct me toward the correct version without size problem?

thanx

Oh that is a common problem (I tend to forget to do this as well).

The fix actually entails two things and can even become rather sloppy at times.

But one issue is that the modder may have forgotten to Make the foot verts merge with the leg verts.

This can be a tedious process but I will give you the info if you want to provide a fix yourself.

What you need to do first is Get the blender and import export settings.

1) Go in import the foot and say the usual DMRA body presumably (Meshes,Characters,_Male) Then pick Female Lower bottom.

Also import the the Shoes (Meshes,Clothes,BisSPHeels) and the problem shoe.

2) Now when in blender (I warn this takes a good 5 minutes or so) You now have both meshes you will often have to go from Object mod to edit and the process will be like this (only alter the foot NOT the body as the body is kind of set for all DMRA mods).

Now select the DMRA lowerbody Select a bottom vert by the anklets of the body. Press  Shift+S and it will come up a selection. When there Select option of Cursor-> Selection, you will now see that red and white target thing on the vert (This has to be in Edit mod BTW)

{Pressing Tab will allow you to go from edit mod to object}

3) Now after doing the last step of Cursor to Selection you will now select the corresponding vert on the foot (the vert {the pink circles} closest to the vert you had selected on the DMRA lower body). After this will will press Shift+S again and this time choose Selection->Cursor. Do that for both sides of the foot and around the whole foot/leg (FYI The shoes are not even needed as usually most shoe conversions use the foot that is already there to save time) After some time all should be set. But there's more!

4) After all is said in done you delete those little bars you see and the lower body.  You now will Select A press A make sure everything has a pinkish lining and then from there import nif (This time it is the skeleton) So you go here Meshes,Characters,_Male Select Skeleton, This time the settings will be different you will use defaults but you will select Import Skeleton Only + Parent Selected. Wait a few minutes/ seconds.

5) When done you will Export it over where you imported the Bisp Shoes. Use normal or default settings.

Also there are two more Efficient ways to mitigate any seems.  You can use one or the other but both may be hard.

If you want even better results instead of stopping at step 3 do step 3a) and/or 3b) But if you do 3B you NEED to do 3A

3a) After all is set go to Object mode (Tab) and select Both the foot and lower body. From here You will press Ctrl+J to Join them. Now from here what you will do is Press W and click Remove Doubles. So it will delete the extra verts (when combining verts they are still 2 verts so we want them to be one) This will help to eliminate that unsightly seem.

3b) Optional. You can dibble around with the foots settings Grabbing Verts (G) or even Using Sculpt tool and use Smooth or any other settings. That is where you see the word Object/Edit etc. This will be tough because you do NOT want to chance anything on the lower body just the foot to make it look a little more thicker or whatever your going for.

3c) This needs to be done if you do 3A. Go to Materials  The panel on the lower left of the screen. You will see 2 Mat 1 or 2 Mat 2. Press the Select Button under that and then make sure you choose which ever one ONLY selects the Lowerbody. (It will be yellow) and this HAS to be done in Edit mod. From there Press X or Delete and then after that choose Faces for a nice smooth deletion that should not disturb your shoes. Also if your confident delete the leftover material in Object mode (the one that selected the lowerbody) A quick hint is if you press Selection and nothing is select then that is the one that can go by clicking that Delete button. This will help to save stress with texture issues later on. Especially in some of the lighting in the game.

From here go to Step 4 and So on.

Sorry I would do it too, but I am kind of short on time these days :(

Good luck

PS: Sorry for no pictures :(

Yep, like happysparkles mentioned this is usually because the leg vertices don't match up with the foot - and you still get this even if they do match - i think it's a texture issue.

When modding my custom heels, I'd frequently run into the case where the original mesh i was using for the foot wouldn't match up with the legs - this happened a lot when modding stockings, as the mesh structure differs from mod to mod.

What I did was similar to what happysparkles mentioned, except I used "Merge vertices" in blender (alt-M) to bring two vertices together. This is easy when the number vertices on the legs part matches the foot but is a little more challenging when they're different. Ran into this when converting Skyrim mods to oblivion because of the different bodies used. In that case, I subdivided the foot mesh to match the vertices count and then merged vertices to stitch them together.

i see, that sound much bigger than my skills, but that info was very useful!

so there doesnt exist any fix for this? its a big shame to have such a glitch for such beautiful high heels...

It's not really a matter of no fix, it is finding the modder who has time to do it.

I would personally do it for you if I had time, but for the next 5 months I am going to be busy :(.

Its a texture issue, when I made them I combined the verts and all that kind of stuff. Eliminating the ankle, wrist and neck seams are basically impossible without major texture work. Unlike the waist seam.

@happysparkles

thanx alot for kind offer its ok dude ^^

@Nephenee13

oh so its not just merging with the leg? :s

aww then in that case there is nothing we can do about it, shame this heels are awesome specially with DMRA :/
