NPC's standing in place

Has anybody ever found exactly WHAT can cause NPC's to just stand in place (besides just have a large load order apparently)? Pretty much EVERY follower from a mod, I can ask them to join me and most of the time they'll follow (I use https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6166 and for whatever reason, followers WON'T follow me through the loading screen into the player home). If I invite them to my player home, they literally just stand in place forever. A few mods have the followers traveling between cities. I approach them and invite them to my player home and they'll just stand in place on the road. In Oldrim I somehow never had that problem but there I never had more then around 350 esm/esp files in my load order.

Hmm, perhaps they cannot reach the door marker because of a broken navmesh. If they follow you to any other building except this one, this would be my bet.

Have mods for Immersive World Encounters and Extended Encounters. Sometimes I'll talk to an NPC just walking by and they just stop and never start walking again.

Something is messing up their AI packages perhaps. I would check if it's only modded NPCs or vanilla ones too. I'd check them in xEdit for overrides then to see what mods modify them.

I REALLY need to learn to merge mods as xEdit won't let me load all 448 plugins (plus there's still the 30+ follower mods I need to merge as well). Without being able to load ALL plugins at once, will be impossible to tell (not that I know much about xEdit in the first place). Only mentioned about the followers cause I never had the problem in Oldrim. I searched around and couldn't find anything except that a large load order possibly breaks NPCs and cause them to stand in place.

Nah, you can do it in parts. Load first 250 plugins, note the ones that have overrides on problematic NPCs, load the rest, make the notes again and then just load the plugins you noted.

Or you could start removing mods and see if it helps. I don't think it's just because of a large load order.

Added that 4 days ago and am going to try it out eventually. Right now I'm back to trying to figure out WHY I CTD in https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6166 when I try to enter the Private Quarters (same thing happened in Oldrim version and it would take DOZENS of crashes before I was allowed to enter lol). It's my favorite playerhome because its one of like only TWO playerhomes that have dialogue to let you DIRECTLY invite a follower to live there. Other playerhomes you have to have YET ANOTHER mod in order to designate to the follower they can stay there.

Have only 2 follower mods installed and both still just stand in place when I invite them to the playerhome I linked.
