cuffs and torches

When my player is wearing cuffs, she can't raise her arms to wield a weapon.  This is good.   However, if I equip her with a torch, then one arm goes up to hold the torch high. When I uneqip the torch, the arm stays high - holding nothing.  I can't bring the arm back down to the cuffed position.

 

I think this may be because the cuff script lets you equip and unequip weapons, but doesn't let you activate your arms.  You can hear the equip/unequip when using the hot keys. That logic doesn't seem to be executing with torches. Equipping the torch seems to lead directly to raising the arm.  However, when the torch is unequipped, the cuff stops the arm from changing state.  I think.

 

Anyway, if this is not just me, then maybe we could add this to the fix list for some future release?  You should not be able to equip a torch when cuffed.   Maybe all the hot keys should also be frozen when cuffed?

Since I'm not sure how closely mod authors track this general tech support group (I know some do, but I think most probably don't, since they have their own dedicated threads for that...), it sounds like something you might want to take direct to the specific mod support threads for any mods you have installed that provide and use cuffs.
