Patmosphere Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 I was wondering for a while how to exactly tie a npc (settler or not) to the animation of a furniture through console commands: specifically, without recurring to making them a follower or by using the setcommantstate 1 command. This, by also not knowing which is the idle animation's ID (due to having props being from mods). Context: When I attempted to stick a settler onto a marker I had no way to do it with console commands because through the previous methods (stated above) the npc teleported with me to another location when fast travelling (thus losing its original position) and if I instead used the assign command of the settlement workshop, the animation lasted only half a second before interrupting. To make it short: anyway to lock npcs into a furniture animation through console commands?
South8028 Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 As far as I know, no. From the console, you can only force npc to play any animation. playidle [animation name]. Furniture animations can be viewed in ck and set there in the script for a 24 hour working day for the settler. But the settlers usually don't care. They can leave the workplace without giving a damn about the script. )
