herpaderp5000 Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 Okay, so. Came back to the game after a few years away, brand new machine, figured I would see how far I could push it with mods. Lot of trial and error, new mod manager (because Vortex is unfortunately the only one I can make work). Get the game running pretty smoothly, a few minor start up errors with the opening sequence until I can get Alternative Start working. Of course, this is where the issue rears its ugly head. Sure you guys have heard this a million times but all friendly/neutral NPCs (including my own player model) are stuck T-posing. Humanoid NPCs do not move from their initial spawn locations, and while I can move as the player the character remains in a static T-pose. Combat isn't possible, and attempts to do so either seem to bring up a random FNIS menu with gibberish options or generate the ice spike spell sound effect on a failed attack attempt. Interestingly enough, however, wildlife and hostile animal NPCs move and fight normally while domesticated ones do not (although they maintain idle animations, not static). While I do not know how to generate a FNIS report for people to look over I gladly will as possible. As for the mod list, it's extensive but nothing crazy compared to some of the ones I've seen out there. There are one or two in there that are named differently from what I got here but I'm hoping people can help if they recognize those - I'll not be including mods that are simply texture packs and the like for the sake of making the list a tad more manageable for anyone kind enough to assist. As far as LOOT is concerned there doesn't seem to be any conflicts at play but I'm clearly missing something here.

If you don't, then when you start your game Vortex will not know that you've run it and you will get T-posing (such as you described). I suggest you look at this:

Just with no movement animations.
