Missing armor parts when camera get closer

Recommended Posts

Hi, there is a small problem, the armor I created begins to disappear parts or the whole armor if you approach the character or bring the camera closer to him, I tried to Google it, but I didn't find an answer, maybe it's related to nifskope can someone help with this question, the problem is only in skyrim SE, thanks.

Try this

Mesh is invisible from certain angles in game:: Skeleton error after moving nif in Bodyslider. Open NifSkope  NiNode >> NiTriShapes >> NiSkinInstance. Right click on NiSkinData -> Transform -> Clear and Save.

Does not work for me, unfortunately. However, they are not NiTriShapes, but BSTriShapes. Clean transform worked anyway, but it didn't seem to have any effect. (Skyrim SE)

Have two meshes in one outfit which disappear at different camera distance....

Try to port it to LE and clear the file and port it back

I had recently a problem with circlets, that sounded similar - except the mesh kept disappearing depending on vertical angle of the 3rd person camera.
The problem disappeared after i fixed the mesh bounding spheres in NifSkope (for some reason, the spheres where offset from the mesh).
Not sure your problem is the same though.

This is happening also inside of SKYRIM LE (it´s no skyrim version-depending problem) and it has to do with the way how the file got exported to become a working gamebryo-file at all.

If you can, you load or re-export your safed project of that asset again into your 3d-software, and then you overhaul it by the main important functions before an export.

You should also weightpaint it again/weight it again by using the suiting body/bones. The error can be caused also, if a clothing becomes converted between bodies like CBBE and UUNP-in that case is BODYSLIDE throwing an error. This error can not be solved by using nifscope, as it doesn ´t allow to see and edit all parameters, which are available by a gamebryo file.

It appears on weighted parts of meshes (like clothing) or also on parts, which are moveable, suiting to bone-mechanics (animated parts of a mesh), which are bone-dependent.

The exporter by figment for 3dsmax needs some special preparations for meshes, to become exported perfectly well-and it houses one more difficulty for collisions to become scaled after the output not suiting to the mesh. A same mesh without such workarounds and rules to be made inside of your 3d-software will lead only to different errors which are not solve-able. Maybe same is for other exporters, like for maya and for blender. Also the handling for vertex-colors is a little science of itself. With 3dsmax, you can keep such verticle-paintings or do them by yourself, but the export and specially mesh-part copying which contain verticle-painting is depending on some TRICKS, which you have to follow and use, if you want to get no mesh-trash out of your export.
