Sims showering with bottoms on

Recommended Posts

Hello,

This is my first post on here since I'm still quite new to The Sims in general.

Here's my issue.

Recently some of my sims have been showering with their bottoms on, even though I have certain settings on which I will try to show in screenshots below.

This is right before the shower. I had selected Naturism and Completely undress option.

Sim changes into bottoms to take the shower.

This is the options I use.

When I go to Change Outfit I have to choose the Outfit to make it appear green. But the sim seem to "forget" this again.

I hope this was clear enough.

Greetings.

Not sure why you are changing into an outfit to take a shower/bathe. Your sim is going to take it off for that. It would seem that if your sims are not getting naked to shower, and that would say be all females, then you are missing a nude lower body.

Complete undressing type only works for WW Nudity or Sex.

Bathing and Showering are separate.

There is a setting to Fix Bathing Outfits in WW though.

Wicked > Nudity > Outfit Undressing > Advanced Outfit Settings >Auto Reset Bathing Outfits: Enabled

Sims will get naked for bathing on their own as mentioned above.

Notice how the red shorts are not in any of your sims CAS outfits.

It could mean they are CC shorts and are wrongly flagged for nude.

You would have to use S4S and fix those tags or remove the cc.

These will sometimes override the naked outfits.

And Yes, naked body parts are also considered as Outfits.

I've tried these settings, but this particular sim still puts on the red shorts before the shower.

I will try this S4S thing, whatever that is :D.

Thanks for the help so far! :)

Okay, I tried S4S out and it is so complicated.

I installed it and watched a tutorial video, but I don't get how it works.

Also, I don't have photoshop or something else to edit with.

So for this small issue I will just let it be and try to ignore that my sim is showering with her bottoms on.

The weird thing is too that other female sims do shower without bottoms on, so I don't get why some sims do and some don't.

Anyway, thanks again for the help.

Don't need Photoshop for fixing tags.

Once you run the program it takes a bit to load all your mods/cc.

Then you click on the CC menu below

Wait for it to load and you'll see a list of all your mods.

This is where having your mods folder organised by category helps a lot.

Make a new folder in Mods named CC Clothing.

Now find all the file names that are clothing types and move all of them into the new folder you just made.

Don't worry if you miss some or can't tell what they are.

Do the same for CC Makeup, CC Shoes, CC Jewelry, etc.

Once everything is in it's own folder now when you open S4S it will list all the folders so you can find the one you want and click the + to expand it.

Click on a file and look on the far right and study the info about it and you will see the flags.

Check the Boxes or Uncheck them and then 'Apply to all Swatches', then at the bottom hit 'Save'.

Once you get the hang of it it's pretty easy.

You'll see an area about what what categories the item will be used, Everyday, Formal, Swimming, Situation, Nude, etc.

(You will also see those shorts in the preview window when you have them selected).

Then you disable the Nude box.

Good idea to check all CC clothing too and make sure those aren't enabled either

Also more info about what Ages can use them, or Genders, etc.

2 different areas for Ages and they should match.

Adult clothing should be all boxes checked from Teen to Elder.

If you want to do it faster and simpler just open sims4studio, and open the menu "content manager", and select "Batch fixes", then "cas", then "disallow cc for shower" (see the screenshot).

Then choose the folder where you have your cc, click "run", and thats it. It will take a few seconds, and you are done. Sims4studio also includes other very useful batch fixes for other things EA screwed up in several updates, and other fixes for cc content. If you use custom content you REALLY should have sims4studio installed in your computer :)

Good Tip but it won't work for those like me that use CC Hairstyles, Makeup, Lashes, Brows, Body Details, Overlays, etc., on all my sims.

Maybe they could remove everything else and just leave the clothing installed in Mods for the Batch Fix.

(I don't have that issue though)

I went through all my CC and fixed all the Tags manually because they are tagged wrong in many other categories too.

Some cc authors make nice stuff but are terrible at tagging.

Just one question: Did you update your game and WW?

I know it sounds stupid, but it just happened to me. When I updated my game, all my sims were showering in their clothes. I waited for the WW update, and this bug was fixed.
It could be your case. ?
