AwfulArchdemon Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I use the Crawl on Fours mod, and when I move around when sneaking, my camera looks too high, as if I were standing. Anyone know what I should do in my .ini to fix this major annoyance? Or perhaps there's another way to fix it? I use Crawl on Fours because I like the way it looks (if you know what I mean), so I'm all kinds of pissed that the camera appears to go out of it's way to make it impossible to see my PC well when sneaking. No change in cam height at all when I duck. I use no mods that change cam height. Children of the Sky kinda changes the camera position, but I don't have that active, and this mod didn't always have this problem. It's a fairly new problem. Help?
Ark of Truth Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Sounds like a skeleton issue. Camera control is determined by the skeleton, you most likely have the wrong skeleton installed for it. The mod is only designed for female characters
AwfulArchdemon Posted May 18, 2013 Author Posted May 18, 2013 That's what I have. A hot blonde. I'm using Ning's The Skeleton For Female Models 3-2. Like I said, it didn't used to do this. It's a fairly recent issue. Maybe .ini can help?
AwfulArchdemon Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 Oh don't mind me...just bumping my unsolved problem up a bit real quick. Aaaaaaahh! (AwfulArchdemonstretches) Just chillin'. Waitin' for a response. You?
AwfulArchdemon Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 RRAAaaaaww. Yeah! Woo! Just chillin' and waitin'. Kickin' the shit. Not too much going on at the moment (unfortunately). YOU!??
AwfulArchdemon Posted May 21, 2013 Author Posted May 21, 2013 Not only does my sneak not move the cam down, but it actually moves it UP a little bit. Rediculous! HELP, GODDAMMIT! thank you
Mud Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 It doesn't seem like we can find you a solution, the problem has to do with the mod and it seems sneak idling is the one position Bethesda neglected to include an ini tweak for. What did you change before it started happening, if it's a new issue?
AwfulArchdemon Posted May 22, 2013 Author Posted May 22, 2013 It was really just SD and SexiS stuff (ZaZ, Lover's Comfort...), nothing skeleton related, or .ini changing. Is there really no was to adjust sneak cam? Can't type anything special in? Maybe there's a mod? It doesn't seem like it showed up directly after an installation, but maybe it did. Recently got the "Need to Urinate" mod, but I think this problem happened before that.
Mud Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 As far as I could tell, the only sneak positions we can edit are ones with weapons drawn, as seen in the Enhanced 3rd Person Camera mod, and those don't exactly look so great with this animation. After trying this out to see if I had the same problem, it happened immediately after installation, so it must be something to do with this mod. Maybe you could make a request in the mod sections to see if anyone with the know-how can take a crack at finding the cause.

If I may ask your opinion, what do you think I should do, mark this "solved" (love doing that!), or try to find the solution to the mods issue somewhere, post that here, and then mark "solved"? btw, if you tried the mod, had that same problem, and it screwed everything up for your cam permanently, then I am REALLY SORRY!!
Mud Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 Naw, it didn't screw anything up. Uninstalled it in NMM and it went back to lowering the camera during sneaking as normal. It must be the mod's problem in that case, I figured. I'd say you should try to find a solution before marking it solved. I mean, it ain't really "solved" yet, right?
