Golgo13 Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 I considered the option of the "ghost armor" "bikini" I could purchase at the S.O. Bunker, but the texture is so blindingly bright that it gave me an headache just putting it on my character. Although the item is supposed to augment stealth, it seemed less likely to do so than the Twentieth Century Fox searchlights. I would not want to watch my toon moving about in a perpetual stealth field (there are items that do that, I know-- I feel that I have an unfair advantage with those); but, would it be possible either to replace the blinding white light with a dim tone of a more ambient hue, or just simply eliminate the glowing, which is not ideally suited to stealth except, perhaps, during daylight on a glacier? If there's no fix, I can just continue not using the item. I just thought I'd ask.
Halstrom Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 The Ghost suits were a failure because there are around a dozen textures that needed to be sorted for each version and none of the textures or mesh parts were labelled in any sensible fashion, so it was trial & error to get the right texture to the right mesh part so I gave up. There'll be a fix when someone else gets interested enough.
Bashis Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 they aren't that bright, unless your using some kind of visual filter, like an enb that has lens flares. .........buuuuut there is a no glow variant for those who cant handle the shine http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/41657/? hell halstrom, this might be the fix your looking for.

Yeah looked at that, it didn't help there's 3 versions of Ghostsuit and they all have a dozen odd texture / mesh slots with screwed up names beyond comprehension and don't match the original we ported for Pregnancy mesh conversion from FO3
