Jericho_Dark Posted July 21, 2021 Posted July 21, 2021 Alright, Within the past few months i suspect something updated that screwed up something within my mod list as all the mods i had working on the save file no longer functioned properly. I have since completely deleted the saves as they got corrupted in the attempts to get it all working again. That out of the way here is the problem i am facing. No matter what mod i try i cannot seem to get the textures to apply properly to Piper and Cait. I have attempted various combinations of TWB, CBBE, and Atomic Beauty and none work properly as i end up with a messed up mesh where pieces of underwear are scattered all over as well as black patches of skin. I take all mods of that type off and it goes back to normal as expected. I have tried using the vanilla version of nuclear nude as well with similar results. Is there a mod i am missing that may fix these compatibility problems? I have tried using Unique followers etc. So as of this point i have zero mods that would affect those particular characters, So of course clothes off they are in the vanilla black lingerie. Yet companion mods such as Heather Casdin and Mary Jane function just fine either way.

Preemhelio Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 The problem occurs because you did try different combinations of body meshes at the same time. Your body texture is literally confused on which body mesh he'll be applied for. Also try searching Corrupted Body Textures on google for more info on this.
Jericho_Dark Posted July 22, 2021 Author Posted July 22, 2021 I was seeing this even with just CBBE by itself which makes it even more confusing. All i have on currently now is CBBE, TWB, and Defiant body for TWB. Thought it had something to do with not having the commands in the INI file but have since added them and still seeing this.
Preemhelio Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 It still a corrupted texture within your game directory. I suggest reinstalling the game or verify the integrity of your game files. Then reinstall the mod.

Reinstalled it through Vortex and got the same messed up textures. And now a new problem has come up with curie looking like barnie basically with purple skin. I did not notice the purple skin when i had CBBE enabled but it showed up after i disabled it again to return the other companion back to normal vanilla appearance.
Preemhelio Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Purple textures means missing textures. I'm using vortex at the moment and haven't got any issues with different mod managers throughout my years of modding my games. It must be something in your end.

I suspect as much as well, but am at a total loss as to what that could be at this point. Before the purple texture thing i did remove True Wasteland body and FSM thinking that was related to the problems with CBBE. I did not realize they had been still enabled when i did both the reinstall and re verification. So i would not be surprised if one of those may be related. The way i understood things with those two mods is that CBBE needed to be on for them to work. If i am wrong on this please let me know.
Preemhelio Posted July 24, 2021 Posted July 24, 2021 Weird, I haven't got any problems regarding textures with Vortex ever since I started using it as it doesn't overwrite anything when installing mods. From the top, use only one body conversion and a single texture mod for the face and body. I suppose you've invalidated your archives for the mods to work, correct? If so, you might be using am incompatible modded armor. If not, I don't know any more tips I could give you as I'm not sure what causing that corrupted texture, the only way is by disabling mods one by one.

Are you connected to the internet when you play the game? Completely disconnect from the internet after you download the game and then do your install. Only play the game while your computer is disconnected from the internet. See if that works.
