support "Enable Push Notifications?" - Can't enable

I keep getting asked this in the LL notification area. I've tried to enable, but it just says "Your browser will shortly prompt you to receive notifications from us" and nothing else happens.

 

I use Brave. Not sure what to do.

On Chrome and FireFox, if you enable the notification, the site is loaded, and you receive a notification, then you get a popup from the browser.

Never tried other browsers.

Brave is Chrome-based if that helps. Thanks for the reply though. I also allowed notifications manually. I'll try some other stuff in the meantime.

This should generate a notification for you.

a site notification, yes but no pop up from the browser itself or anything

I suppose you get the popup only if the notification is real-time.
