LinksSword
if you mind me asking how does this work? did you basically take existing dialogue take words and kinda mash it together to fit the narrative of the dialogue from the mods for the npcs? kinda like what spank that ass does? Link to comment
judge007
The mod authors enter text in Dialog Views, Dialog Topics and the text themselves They mostly didn't have access to voice actors or synthesizers, so they used text to display and what's called a .lip file to animate the talkers mouth. What we're doing here is using software to analyze the mod for dialog to get information on FormIDs, the text, the voice model etc and dump into a usable file. That file is used to run the synthesizer, which produces audio files of the spoken text. Other software analyzes the length of the audio file to produce a .lip file, which tells Skyrim how to long to animate the NPCs mouth The audio file and .lip are then merged to produce a file the Skyrim engine can use. No mashing or modding done here whatsoever. It's output the way the mod author programmed it. 1 Link to comment
