Have you tried 50/50ing through your mods (or testing them in batches or something like that)? Here's a quick rundown of how I usually do it:

- Remove all mods from the Mods folder and delete "localthumbcache.package", found in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4".

- Run the game without any mods. If something doesn't work, repair game via Origin and try again.

- Add a few mods, delete "localthumbcache", test again.

- If you run into issues, test the mods from the last batch one by one.

- If you find a mod that causes trouble, update, replace, or remove it. Test again (unless you just removed it, of course).

- Repeat until you have tested all mods. If you're feeling confident, you can test all your remaining mods at this point as one batch.

The whole procedure takes a bit of time (significantly faster with a well-organized Mods folder), but it's pretty much guaranteed to produce a result.
