he is making assumptions about your motives, but distributing a mod without the author's explicit permission is considered piracy. If it cant be found, it may be the author's intention that it not be. in which case, any source is piracy.

that being said, there is a request/find thread which might yield better results. Skyrim has such a huge amount of content out there, its easy for even really good stuff to get lost.
