BlahBlahBlah1103
Whenever I try to play an animation through FNIS, my character just stands there like nothings happening. I can't walk around, and I can't talk to anyone or activate anything, so it just softlocks me from continuing. osculim
I don't see any animation packs in that list and the body bone amount looks wrong aswell. Can you post your load order so we can see if you are missing something in your loadorder. Link to comment
anjenthedog
XPMSSE skeleton appears to be out of date. it should be showing more like ~117 or so bones afaik. (not sure the exact qty off hand) Link to comment
BlahBlahBlah1103
I don't even have XPMSSE installed. I'll get that and see if it helps. Link to comment

BlahBlahBlah1103
I installed XPMSSE, and it changed nothing. The animations didn't start working, and the FNIS loader still says 99 bones. Here's my mod list as requested. Link to comment
anjenthedog
Well, that's strange. This is what I see when I run FNIS for my game using the XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended v 4.80, which is afaik the current standard for Skyrim Special Edition (I was wrong in my initial estimation of the number of bones in the up-to-date skeleton most of us use (the link I provided). Haven't opened the game in a couple weeks and haven't actually watched FNIS do it's thing in probably a year or more (Vortex handles it all in the background, which I like) . Anyway, my bad. BlahBlahBlah1103
Yeah, for some reason I it continues to say 99 bones even though I've installed it both through a mod manager and manually (don't worry, I know how to read fomod files). Either way, I managed to get ZAZ to work. It was a simple issue of me not installing the animation files properly. Link to comment
BlahBlahBlah1103
Nevermind, I managed ZAZ to partially work. It plays the animations, but props included in said animations glitch out or just don't fit with the animation. I'm guessing that's an issue with the skeleton, due to everything else working perfectly. Link to comment
BlahBlahBlah1103
I've made it work! Apparently XPMSSE has two different rigs: HDT and BBP. My mod manager failed to notice this and didn't install either rigs, which are essential to making the ZAZ Animations work. Link to comment
