NV Hair mods that work with hats?

I'm prepared to be disappointed here, I've been looking and cannot find anything promising.  But, are there any good hair mods out there that actually work right with hats, doesn't clip through or just make you bald?

Personally I don't know, all the ones I tried have this issue, due to the fact they are a straight port.

In these weeks I'm working on a mod which allows some things concerning the aestetic, which includes the ability to put hair and hats together, but it still will require some good amount of time so unfortunately I can't really foresee when I'll be able to upload on nexus.

You can disable Helmets removing your character's hair by unchecking the "Hair" flag from that specific helmet in FNVEdit.

 

Other than that, it would be best to find a certain hair model that looks good for you and is kinda flat so that it doesn't conflict too much with helmets. I personally use a hairstyle called Lacuna for helmets that clip too much with other hair styles.
