Guest Posted June 6, 2021 Posted June 6, 2021 Hello everybody, i am puzzled by the fact, that whenever i am trying to use skin textures, that i am getting a black face. Now i wonder if that has anything to do with my machine and its capabilities or is it really the game itself. For now, i do not use any textures expect whatever comes with Bodyslides. I always change the F4EE.INI to 2048. uTintWidth=2048 uTintHeight=2048 But it seems that it has no effect. But i am certain that some maybe running their game with 4K and i can not even get it to 2K for skins. My graphics card is surely obsolete. Its a Gigabyte RX480. Even at the time i bought it, it was more midrange. Maybe that has something to do with it. Well, mostly i really wonder if i do something wrong. My current setup looks like this. ZI0MATRIX Posted June 7, 2021 Posted June 7, 2021 Are you use face tattoos, eye brows, makeup, wrinkle remover/smooth face mods... that might have a different resolution?
Guest Posted June 7, 2021 Posted June 7, 2021 I run SavrenX texture replacers, 2k face textures with 4K skins on a 8GB GPU RX580. I only very very rarely get a brown face on NPC's that I can save and reload to fix. I could probably run 2K textures without 4K skins on the spare 480 provided I pack all loose textures into BSA as one should. If you are getting the brownface immediately after loading up the game you very likely have a face/makeup texture size mix match. Load only whatever 2K face texture replacer mod you have and disable anything else face related like: Appealing Moles- EXTRA Moles Custom Lipgloss deLuxe Mask Eye Liner Masks And see if you still get brown face. If you don't it's because those mods do not have the same matching upscale for 2K faces and I am certain they don't. I think are all for 1k faces native.
Guest Posted June 7, 2021 Posted June 7, 2021 Actually, that was right. I was using makeup etc. At the moment, i have these new mods installed. HighPollyFemaleFace Real 2K Faces As for makeup and nails i am using these now which works fine with the 2K stuff. EoW Makeup Colors CBBE Bautiful Nails - Scratchy. I think, the biggest culprit is, if you do not know why something happens because you do not know the technical side of things. From what i understand, that overlays sometimes do not fit correctly the vanilla textures and will cause this praenomen. I am glad i was able to solve it. Just in case someone is curious, i uploaded my loadorder with mods i am using at the moment. Thanks guys. Current Loadorder.txt

After removing all these, i can even use THBrows now. I just misunderstood it the whole time. After all these years i still learning about Bethesda games. Thanks
