Body Types

I just downloaded and installed this without any problems, and I must say I have been quite impressed so far. I've played up to the first escort mission without any problems, save one.

I use Robert's Female, and Alienslof's textures, and those textures look really bad on anything that's not Robert's Female. I made sure to choose the 'vanilla' option during the calibration stage, but I'm still getting NPCs with different body types. (Actually, all of them so far except Augusta.) Some of this is obviously because of the clothes meshes, but even when they're not wearing anything during animations the different body types are still there! It's kind of ruining the experience for me. Is there anything I can do to make it so that the body types are consistently Robert's Female?

Thanks in advance!

(P.S. The other way -- making my textures fit the other body types -- won't do at all. One of the reasons I use Robert's Female is to get away from those proportions!)

Yup, you need to copy a "cloth" mesh that includes evey body part over all the others by renaming them body1, body2 ... body15 in \meshes\Clothes\VToy\MeshMix folder. Check my friend Electrro's mod for example!

Glad you like CLS!

And when you have done it, PM me so I can release it as an option of others players sharing your taste so your work will not be lost!

Cheers!!!

Fair warning; all the animations are done under the assumption that the characters all have the original body types from CLS. So if you install a smaller body, animations may look strange. Hands hovering several inches above breasts and whatnot.

Did as you said, worked like a charm. Thanks!

I had zero bsa and nifskope skills to start with, but I managed to club together a solution.

There's still the matter of some of the clothes, but it's not that big a deal and I may get around to tinkering with those eventually. For now, I just want to play through the mod.

And yeah, the animations no longer match up perfectly but oh well--it's close enough and you can't win 'em all...I'm not complaining.
