rb888 Posted May 16, 2021 Posted May 16, 2021 New issue I have over 117GB of mods into my data folder from MOD Organizer and now I can't open it? It said not responding please see photo! I still have them in my download folder. But I had mad new mods folder because it stop working? Anyone else having issue with windows ten pro folders?
judge007 Posted June 22, 2021 Posted June 22, 2021 From the location in %LocalAppData%, I can tell you are running MO2 as a Global Instance. Which is a location included in Windows UAC. Better idea would be to run MO2 as a Portable Instance. Which would have your mods folder located under the MO2 install folder, and out of Bill Gates weird-ass reach. UAC locations have various Permissions issues, and the AppData locations to have additional problems. i.e. Being included in DiskCleanup etc. Best Modding practices, are to have Steam, Your installed games, Mod manager and mods located outside of UAC territory. When you first install MO2, it will give you the option of Global Instance or Portable Instance. Take Portable
