IzunaNatsuma Posted May 10, 2021 Posted May 10, 2021 Hey everyone. I'm learning about the modding stuff and I've run into a bit of a wall here. This might be super complicated to do, but I'm interested in learning. One of the issues I've noticed is that the Bijin makeovers, while absolutely beautiful (good god that Aela), has one of the wonkiest settings ever and I've run into the problem of all of them having the same body type. I'm wondering if it's possible to assign different body types to different NPCs in the makeover mod. I'll give you an example. Let's say that I want to give Jenassa a specific preset that I made, and I made another preset that makes the bodies muscular, which I want to use for all of the Warmaidens (to coincide that they're baddass) and then finally, I made another preset that's both muscular and thicc, which I want to use for all the Orcs (name escapes me at the moment but I'm sure you guys may know who I'm talking about). Is it possible for me to do this? I've tried searching through SSEEdit but I can't find the nude body anywhere. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place or maybe it's not possible? I'd appreciate any and all help. The goal here is to keep the makeovers, but modify the bodies enough to create a variety, because I do love how all of them look. And of course, the physics is a lot of fun and makes it all more immersive. If anyone can answer this question as well, I'd appreciate it: Is there a reason the vagina looks so incredibly low quality? Is there a mod that significantly ups that quality so that it doesn't look absurdly low quality compared to the skin? I use OStim, and I like creating scenes using that tool, but it totally breaks my immersion when Brogakh (Is that her name) and Aela have the same exact body type when Brogakh is an Orc (who I believe should be muscular and thicc) and Aela (should be toned but relatively slim).
IzunaNatsuma Posted May 10, 2021 Author Posted May 10, 2021 Kind of a bump but also an update. After a lot of searching around, I managed to determine that all the Bijin groups (Warmaidens, Wives and NPCs) follow a preset set by that mod, rather than individual presets for each of them. Now I don't want to make a preset for EACH of them, but it's very immersion breaking for me to see Aela and Brogakh having the same exact body type. Is there a way to get the game to read presets specific to each lady instead of the Bijin mod forcing all of them to follow the same preset?

Yes. (I run LE but I'll assume that Bijin is arranged the same way in SE. I'm also assuming you want to change Aela's body). Go to Data\meshes\actors\character\Bijin Warmaidens and create a folder called Aela. Go to Data\meshes\actor\character\character assets and create a folder called whatever your default preset is. Move femalebody tri, _0, _1 and the same files for hands and feet into that folder. (Nine files in total). Go to Bodyslide and build the body you want for Aela, body, feet and hands. Don't forget to tick the morphs box. Back to \character assets and cut these new files and paste them into your \Bijin Warmaidens\Aela folder. Back to \character assets and copy the nine files from the default meshes folder you created back into \character assets. Now fire up T5Edit. In the left hand pane find the Bijin Warmaidens esp and expand 'Armour Addon'. You should see three entries for Aela - feet, hands and torso. What you need to do is edit the path in the right hand pane to point at your meshes\actors\character\Bijin Warmaidens\Aela folder. You only need to do it for the Female World Model, MOD3-Model FileName entry but you need to do it for Feet, hands and torso. Those entries aren't case sensitive but do be careful of typos. And that should be that unless I missed something. Any problems let me know. Quote me so I get a notification.
Angahran Posted May 17, 2021 Posted May 17, 2021 FYI to help with your orc issue, there is a mod on Nexus, Unique Female Orcs, which allows you (with a little work) to use a unique body type for orcs vs other races.
