Talking Activator Trouble

Anyone familiar with talking activators?

Whenever I use them I run into problems.

CK Situation 1: Dialogue line but no sound file -> results in dialogue that can't be skipped. So you just have to sit there until it's done playing. If you've got a lot of dialogue like this you can be waiting absolutely ages for it to finish. Annoying.

CK Situation 2: Dialogue line and sound file -> Results in no sound playing and no subtitle displaying until very nearly near the end of the usual wait time. Then the subtitle flashes up briefly before moving to the next line. Sound file plays just fine in the CK....

I've been looking at this for about half a day now and I'm pretty sick of it. I've compared what I'm doing to what Bethesda did with mephala quest DA08 and I can see no difference between what I'm doing and the whispering door.

Any thoughts?

Edit: So for shits and giggles I gave the TACT a model. DIdn't think it'd matter but at least now I have audio. Still have the same problems with the subtitles though (not displayed until the very end) and the line still can't be skipped like normal dialogue...

Edit2: Subtitle disappearing seems to have been fixed when I added the rest of the dialogue audio. Still can't be skipped though which is the most annoying part really.

+1 :classic_dodgy: I stumbled upon that same thing.

And postponed my troubles until the light of wisdom might strike me.

And, Yes! It seems that you need an actor NPC to get it done like Bugthesda did it.

You could try the other quests with invisible talkers. Below some copy&paste from my todo list, to do some further research. (which I didn't, yet)
