After a very quick search I found that "They've stated that they would like to allow mods, but they don't have the time, budget, or personal to do it. So as of right now they're not planning on mod support." in the steam forums, that's of course from 2017, so no idea if they added modding support as of now; that aside I also would love to see this modded
