[REQUEST] Time for a Niruins Business Plan Update with Sexlab?

I really like Niruins Business Plan.

 

The structure is fantastic. How it works, how it's implemented and all its little quirks.

 

As the creator Freshfish has stopped work on it but has encouraged others to pick it up - I think it would make a great SexLab plug-in. There are only two major animations with NBP, although there is a third that you get rarely and a kind of easter egg one if you have the Luxury Suite, but that's it.

 

I was thinking along the lines of Working Girl where you build up your expertise, although this could work really well with your girls. Plus the more expertise they get the more they earn. It could be random as to what the client wants depending on which level they've reached but they unlock various requests as they go.

 

Perhaps if the same client is asked a set number of times, they unlock a new request, or say the same request is performed a set number of times it unlocks a new request. Or even if your girl gets to do it with a prominent member, say a Thane or a Jarl then the rewards are bigger. Seems to be plenty of scope.

 

I really think the NRB structure with the Working Girl levelling could make the ultimate Skyrim Prostitution mod.

 

Now if I was a clever modder (and I get ecstatic when I create an NPC that everybody doesn't attack immediately) then I would give this a go myself, but I am just starting out and its way beyond me.

WorkingGirl for SexLab is our best shot to have something similar, everything in due time, SexLab is really fresh and sex stuff in Skyrim is still also but we already have a glimpse of what can be done and it is quiite amazing already.

 

I think it would be better to focus on fewer projects with several modders than several mods with a single modder if we want to achieve something stable and complete, we already have a new framework that seems to be stable and with a lot of options and a really complete MCM menu, give it time to grow.

Oh I'm not saying that it needs to be done right this minute - I'm happy to see what others come up with as I'm sure there are some great ideas out there.

 

It's just that as a complete experience NBP is about the best one out there and Working Girl has the levelling structure and now uses SexLab - I'm pretty sure that both ideas could be incorporated into one mod.- and the structures are there already to work on.

 

If I was any good, I'd be giving this a shot myself. But I'm just starting out so it will be a while before I tackle anything that big.

 

I have some idea's myself - I'd like to see a proper "sleep mod" where you get onto the bed and change into your sleep clothes before getting the time screen. Then afterwards, wake up get out of bed, redress and carry on. Seems simple enough but even that's beyond me yet. I know there is one called "See You Sleep" but it's really buggy and the creator seems to have abandoned it.

The last time I checked, most of the script source files weren't included in NBP's BSA so I doubt that freshfish wants someone else to take over the mod.

Yeah I checked that myself - opened up the BSA and there were no scripts. Also opened it up in the CK and none of the scripts open there either. However, and I quote, here is the last post from him on the Nexus regarding NBP

 

"So, I think I'm pretty much done with this. There are a few little tweaks I haven't released yet but its been a good few weeks since I did any work on it and it seems unlikely that I will return to it in any major way. If anyone feels like taking over development let me know, otherwise I hope you will enjoy playing as it is."

 

From that I take it he doesn't mind others taking over.

When was the last time that mod was updated in the first place? That mod made my game cry for mercy, it fucked it up so bad.

 

The latest version was 09U which was 31st December 2012 - Freshfish said it would be the last update. He did post that above quote on 7th March 2013 so not that long ago.

 

His last actual post which was a reply was on 19th April - so again not that long ago.

 

Which version messed up your game because the 09U version is pretty stable

Has anyone gotten the script source to this?

I would love to clean it up for my own use, but without the script source it is sort of a lost cause.

Hm guys not sure why you keep asking for script source files, they are already present in the download, just unpack the BSA file and you have them

You obviously didn't even try loading up the mod in CK. Those files are incomplete.

I'm still waiting for Freshfish to get back to me, but as soon as he does, I'll let you know if it's a go or not. Good to see a few more interested though.

no im not a modder, nor scripter, but unless im totally mistaken, even if they are incomplete, they are a start? (And as already suggested here and by freshfish himself, how about contacting him directly and ask for the missing source files)

Yeah, 7 of 86 scripts are included in the BSA. That's obviously a start... for writing the mod from scratch. :lol:

I think a new tool was uploaded to nexus not long ago. that would convert pex back to psc not sure if it is anything you guys can use ?? i will have to look if i can find this tool  not sure what the name was.

Those decompiled script fragments will not be loaded in the CK. All you can get is a script file with instructions similar to the original. Better than writing from scratch, but still a waste of time.

It actually got an update, including script sources ...

0.9v is a beta due to my ongoing hatred of Archive.exe, hopefully all the required scripts are included but I will await confirmation from some kind users that all is well and good. I hope this time all the script sources are included too for those that are interested.
