[Scripting] Cast/RemoteCast Spells does not show HitEffectArt

Me again (sorry) ^^

 

I want to apply a Hit Effect Art to the PC during a scene.

I made spells containing the effect, but while the skin overlay effect shows (for example shock or flame effect), the "HIT EFFECT ART" is never showing up (electric currents like with DD or the waterspell I tried to apply).

 

I tried "cast" and "RemoteCast"

 

I found "setHitEffectArt(art obj)" as SKSE function but I have no idea how I have to set that up to compile -.-

and what is a property for an art object? "Art Property FXWaterCloak01_nade Auto"? 

cfgqst.PlayerRef.setHitEffectArt(FXWaterCloak01_nade)

 

also no idea if this will show the art effect, when the spell itself doesent... 

 

any ideas?

oh sorry, wrong subforum....

I'm more guessing ... Does your spell has "projectile" art/effect?

 

"Casting type" and "Delivery" on Magic Effect screen may also be important.

hmm, where can I see that?

I used an art effect that is used for a self cast effect (target is the caster itself). 

It creates a water "tornado" as cloak around the PC.

Casting Type is "Fire and Forget",
Delivery "Self"
