Annoying purple texture on sheath of iron dagger and iron swords

Well,all iron daggers and iron swords have purple sheaths on them in my game. The problem is that I don't know why the sheaths are purple and what mod added them into my game. I've already tried validating my game files, but it didn't work. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Search through your meshes folder for the weapons.  If you find them, then open them up with nifskope and check where the texture file paths are pointing towards.

 

Generally a purple item is one that the texture is missing on.

seen a few purple sheathes in my time i can tell ya...as greg said ..you have a texture issue

Thanks, I manually fixed the problem by going into nifskope and deleting the purple scabbard altogether.
