How to upload a sim model

Hello everyone, I would like to share on this forum my sims

 

I wonder if there is any restriction on what I can publish here. Mostly I refer to old CC that are no longer downlodable (removed by the author - but that still work), and if I have to give any credit to original CC authors. I would like to share my sims but also I don't want to create problems to anyone

When you contribute UGC, you grant to EA, its licensors and licensees a non-exclusive, perpetual, transferable, worldwide, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works, publicly perform, publicly display or otherwise transmit and communicate the UGC, or any portion of it, in any manner or form and in any medium or forum, whether now known or later devised, without notice, payment or attribution of any kind to you or any third party.

 

This is the current EA license. Here most sim uploads don't contain a CC list or links to authors, some name this CC piracy as the TOU of the creator has been0 ignored.

It's a good practice to mention CC creators if possible and link to them. Often they have other interesting items.

 

A few sims come without CC and a long download list. One will usually skip such a sim as this takes about 2 hours and there are enough sims with CC. Also some downloads may be removed by the creator breaking your sim.

 

If there are tuning files of mods or HQ files in your zip please remove them before uploading. TS4-Exporter seems to include these.
