Lost Baby

My sim got pregnant and went through the entire process. When I sent them to the hospital to have the baby, they came back without it. They're moodlet for having the baby is still there. Everything I'm seeing says to delete the mods, but I was wondering if anyone has a solution that allows me to keep the mods.

Thank you for any help.

Don't know if I'd blame any mods just yet.

Hospital births in the game are sometimes bugged out.

Not even sure how the babies get back home after birth anyway since you can't really carry them around.

Next time have the baby at home.

Make sure you have a crib placed in home and the first floor is best IMO.

When she goes into labor make sure she's selected as the active sim.

Click on the Crib and select 'Have Baby'.

If this doesn't work then we can look at mods.

I accidentally made them pregnant a second time using cheats and did as much and there was still no baby.

Strange problem...

Usually the easiest way is to remove all your other script mods and test with only WW + Animations.

CC content is OK to leave installed.

Don't forget to delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder whenever you add, remove, or update mods or game.

Don't make any new saves with mods removed just exit when done testing.

If it works now you know it was another mod conflicting and adding them back in one at a time and retesting the problem will show up again.

MCCC also has pregnancy settings and the pregnancy duration of 3 days default has to match the WW pregnancy duration.

Both are set to 3 day default unless they were changed by user.

Last resort try doing an Origin Repair in case something is corrupted in game files.

I only have WW script mods. Everything in my files is animations. I'll test the other things, though, and get back when I do.

Weirdest thing just happened. Created a new game and played through a pregnancy and it worked just fine. I haven't done any fixes yet. Might try it in the original game and see what happens.

Possible you had a bad save game or a corrupted sim.

Yeah, I was wondering if I'd messed with the WW settings too much, too. Either way, its fixed.
