Unknown Random Errors... Stumped [Solved, I think]

Recommended Posts

Errors started yesterday after game update and all mods are up to date, I think.

After loading game to active household had this error.

When my sim traveled to another zone/lot got the same error.

Returning to home lot no error.

Sims doing nothing apparent to cause this.

Today on home lot after some time got the error again.

Active sim having WW sex with visitor sim and second household member going to shower.

Maybe someone has seen these types of errors before and has some ideas... besides doing the 50/50 method :)

Try disabling the BasementalDrugs mod once and try again. A few errors seem to be caused by BasementalDrugs. Maybe there is a new version for this, you have to have a look.

The other errors don't seem to be serious, so your game shouldn't crash.

Thanks, just updated BD to latest version today and had the same error with last version yesterday.

Hate to remove it as most of my sims are smokers and have packs added to inventories now.

I'll probably end up removing my other mods to see if there may be a conflict first since I did add a few new mods yesterday.

Odd that Better Exceptions doesn't know the specific mod but only 'object_tests' error.

Other mentions of Crafting, NPC_Service_Sims...

Don't even have Seasons EP (Wonder if I somehow got hold of a mod that requires Seasons to work)

You can simply create a new household for testing. Then deactivate Basemental and check if this is the problem. If it is, you need to send the LE to the mod author so he can help you.

The code you sent already checks if Seasons is present and then outputs the code if the check is true. Looks right to me.

OK, thanks for the help I'll try that next.

Well took a bit longer to happen but still got the exact same error.

New game, new sim, and BMD not installed.

I'll keep using this save for more testing.

Have to try removing some other script mods now, grr.

PITA to find since it takes so long for the error to pop when testing.

Edit: Put BD back in game and now BE points to BD for error again.

Fortunately, the problem cases are there. Have you removed them once and seen if it is better?

Also keep in mind that exceptions are always shown, even only for warnings that are actually not errors.

Yes I pulled most all my mods out yesterday including those for testing.

Left CC alone, WW + Animations, MCCC, BD, and Control Any Sim

No errors for 2 RT hours.

Then installed a small group of mods back into game, including those 2 you mentioned above, and ran for long time again with no errors.

Reinstalled my 9 LMS mods this morning to do more testing.

LMS mods no errors...

Slow process...
