chan Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Been looking for weeks, but everyone is sold out, or they are charging 25-90% over MSRP (http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00BJ7AJ7C/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=all). Looking for any AD/Custom PC Building company in North America or Europe that has them in stock, for a reasonable price, willing to ship international. Thanks
Astaroth-Lite Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 My first thought was this: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Imperial_Titan
canderes Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Jesus for what it costs it might as well be that robot. Don't these things come out like every month? You could just keep an eye on newegg until the next one is released. It seems like these things get replaced by a new model roughly every 4-6 weeks. You could always try ebay but its probably more expensive on there. If you find it locally in a store it will probably cost twice the price or more. You are better off waiting for the next model. That's crazy you could build an entire computer for what that costs.
Veta Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I would not recommend buying the titan the price is outrageous ; if you really want it at least wait for next gen ,hopefully it will drop it's price .
chan Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 For me, my requirements, it is the best thing I can get for the price (MSRP). Thanks.
LolGG Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 You plan on making a rocket launch from your toilet or something?
deathparade Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 First thing first do you have multiple screens? Heard the GTX 690 is better for multiple screens because of the dual processors...I cant help with buying a Titan since the only webshop that has em in stock is in Dutch...
demonse Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 It would be better if you wait for the GTX 700 series considering how there is now talk of a TITAN Ultra in the works.
chan Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 Just need the url for the places that have them in stock. Thanks
Groovtama Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 It would be better if you wait for the GTX 700 series considering how there is now talk of a TITAN Ultra in the works. It's not a Titan Ultra, it's a Titan LE (Light Edition) which has a smaller memory interface and less cores. Which will hopefully have a better price/performance ratio than a normal Titan. @chan Most Titan sellers are already sold out or don't ship internationally. It's not really a mass product. Here is a Europe price comparsion site: http://geizhals.at/eu/?cat=gra16_512&xf=132_6144%7E1439_GTX+Titan#xf_top Do you need the card also for rendering or only for gaming?
chan Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 Yeah, it seems the only people that have them are custom PC build companies...I need it for all things, and future expansion. Current power and space restrictions make this card a better deal than buying multiple things I don't really need. When I do need them, I will purchase a new rig, and another titan
Groovtama Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Yeah that's true, but you should consider that Maxwell will come in nearly a year and you might not get another Titan if they change the production of the chips a few months before. If you want to pay the price and do other stuff with the card like rendering or GPGPU stuff you really should get one.
Endiness Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I don't think this is a thread about your opinions gtx titan, but I admit I haven't been find any in stock, just pre-orders with a limit of 1 (so no sli). Trying to buy international is going to make the price skyrocket, but it seems like your only option. Either way it seems like your going to have to wait as its not something that is going to be mass produced. If you need a quicker solution and only have 1 card slot then, like Deathparade said, 690 is your best bet. I can only remember once having to wait a couple days to play Sleeping Dogs with a proper profile without using a workaround for sli. Every other game has worked from the start, so I wouldn't worry about the sli part of the 690 so much.

The Ultra is more speculation although probable and the LE is more than likely real. I just heard about the Ultra yesterday some wacko rumor about 3 TITAN cards on the market.
chan Posted April 22, 2013 Author Posted April 22, 2013 Thanks for the replies, got one finally. They are on Newegg, the 2793 sold out about 5 mins after being in stock, but the 2790 is still showing as available.
RitualClarity Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 Better get it very soon. I was looking for one for someone else besides here. Everywhere I have seen has a back order or out of stock as soon as they come in. The OEM's get first crack at all the cards as the come out. Only after manufacturing starts to get up to speed do we regular people get a chance at it.
RitualClarity Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 I would wait a while, the Titan II is already on the table raising the cores well over 2800. and the Titan isn't the most powerful graphics card on the market. That is true, however if one needs a powerful single card many test show that the titan can beat almost any single gpu card hands down. The duel gpu cards can beat the titan however they come with there own issues that might be the reason the OP states he wants the titan.
chan Posted April 23, 2013 Author Posted April 23, 2013 lol, wait for what, why? I want that card, now. If you don't need it, or want it, or want something else, then buy something else. Newegg and Amazon have been getting a few cards the last 12 hours, check there if you want one

If you can afford it by all means go for it.
Soap desu Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 The new 780s are promising, but that would require you to wait so lol. I already bought two 680s so I'll wait for Goliath in 2014 <---- made up name . But the Titans are sick even though 690s are better for some things and Titan is better for others see http://www.techoftomorrow.com/2013/pc/nvidia-gtx-titan-vs-gtx-690-performance-gaming-benchmarks/ or any other 690 vs Titan thread. FYI for links I use this place to find products http://www.nowinstock.net/
