As soon as Ashal releases the new animation framework I am going to make another attempt at my old Marriage Mod. Before I was struggling with where to even begin because I had scoped the project too large, this time it will be divided into smaller parts and features will be added gradually. I tend to work better with a vague plan instead of having everything mapped out before hand, so I feel this will help me actually work on the project and not get overwhelmed.

 

To start I am just going to add a sex node in the spouse conversation. This is something extremely simple that will get me a foundation and allow me to build from it.

Eventully I will have a whole courtship system that will replace the amulet of mara system. Players will do simple radiant quests to earn their suitor's favor, and get their disposition up. Once it is high enough the player can choose to marry the individual. Marriage however, won't be as simple as returning home for your spouse's paycheck and some meat pies. Your spouse will want to be with you. Failure to complete radiant "honey dos" and failure to regularaly spend time with your family will result in loss of disposition. Over time with low disposition your wife may cheat on you. However, a high disposition may allow you do try kinks with him\her. Some kinks will require lower disposition (Spouse dominating you, cuckolding etc) I want to slowly add differant events that can happen as a I think of them (Walking in on your wife and the dog might be one, or perhaps coming home to a gang bang with a group of orcs?)

 

Basically this mod is an attempt to slowly add life to the current stale marriage system, with support for lots of pornographic situations.

 

 

Hopefully the second try is the charm!

i have question on this are you going to make this compatible with lovers comfort 

 

 

This will use Ashal's framework, if its compatible with that then yes, if not, I'll discuss compatibility patches when the mod is further along.

I've been following some great tutorials on scripting, quest creation, and dialog for the skyrim toolset. I have got the quest and dialog framework for sex with your spouse created, tested, and ready to go. I simply need the sex animations to tie into the dialog topics, and we are set. 

I have conditionals in place for PC and Spouse gender, so we can eventually do some more specific stuff with the sex animations.

 

 

Next I'll begin adding other interactions to do with your spouse as well as start with the radiant quests.

Yes, it should be a lot of Love, a lot!!!

 

Don't forget to include a lot of romantic interaction and event. Like kissing, giving gift, bath together, cuddling, etc...

 

Don't forget the polygamy support.

Very promising :-).. I hope it will support multiple marriages though.

 

That is something I am thinking about doing for sure, I also want to have some form of discovery chance where your other spouses can find out about your other families. No promises, but I am strongly considering it.

Yah the romantic interactions are the first things going in after sex, I am no animator though so i'll need to work with what Ashal has got in his framework, what other modders can add to that, and if all else fails I'll use good old fashioned text boxes for the rest.

You can always put that discovery possibility as an option so we also have the ability to create harems. say.. fill Hjerim with like 5 wifes

So you're going to do a lot of interaction with your spouse? Dialog is going to be unvoiced i assume?

 

Yes, unvoiced.

 

I've got the dialog framework all setup for sex and kissing, I am just waiting on Ashal's framwork. I don't want to start anything else till I can get the sex out so you guys will have something to play with at least.

The starting version is gonna be really bare bones, just ask your wife for sex. Already married and "looking for a spouse" are differant stages in the releationship quest, so I doubt the courtship side of the mdo will affect married couples. My plan is to alter the scripts within the marriage quest to change the requirements. So basically I'll delete all the stuff with Maramal and the Amulet of Mara and replace it with Courtship stuff.

 

I was struggling with some bugs last night in my script but Ashal has pointed me to a possible solution. Ive got a school project to work on this morning, and I want to get a haircut this afternoon. I'll try and get the basic sex out this evening sometime if I don't run into more issues with papyrus. (I'm on Central Standard Time)

 

There won't be any dating or gifts or any kind of interaction except sex yet, but that stuff is to come!

Well it sounds like you're doing great already! I was just meaning that it would be wonderful to have it built so that if you're already married it doesn't mess with that. Even just having a simple thing where you ask your spouse for sex is great! I ran a quick (read very quick) test drive of Ashal's mod last night and it looks amazing.

 

Really looking forward to whatever you come up with! Keep up the great work!

There is a working divorce mod on steam workshop. Can't remember the name and can't access the workshop atm for some reason but it's one that you have to click an underwater statue and it successfully resets the marriage quest. Used it to divorce Lydia and marry Serana once.

Also SexLab was released just recently you should go over to the thread and go start working with it so we can have this mod!

Still having problems getting SexLab functions to be recognised by the CK. Pretty new at this. I need to get my darn esp file to associate with Ashal's master file, which seems to be easier said than done. My scripts won't compile as CK keeps bringing up errors on how it dosen't recognise the sexlab keywords, I'm going to do some more research this weekend. Sorry about the delys, again I am learning as I go.
