Monster_girl Potrait mod

this is a a mod of monster girls it work with Lustful Void

 

its 19 difrent monster girls
it 10 difrent futas monster_girls

and its 6 monster_man

I need help with your mod, I have an error saying the path to the descriptor file is invalid or does not exist. Any ideas on how to fix this?

How did you manage to get it to work?

it says the descriptor file doesn't exist

I figured out the problem using notepad++ it turns out that lustful void has the path starting at the mod folder meanwhile this mod starts at the C:\ drive meaning that the users folder says marcus and you have to change it to match your users folder

will we have to do this fix ourselves and if so how do i do this?

I personally use notepad++

go to where you installed your mod and right click and select edit with notepad++

you will see (changed to username to protect the authors name)

 

version="2021.2"
tags={
    "Species"
}
name="MonsterGirl_race"

path="C:/Users/<username>/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Stellaris/mod/MonsterGirl_race"

 

you will need to edit the path by removing everything infront of mod so it should look like the following below;

 

version="2021.2"
tags={
    "Species"
}
name="MonsterGirl_race"
supported_version="2.8.1"
path="mod/MonsterGirl_race"

 

you could also just copy and paste over the above but I prefer to explain the process

 

Hit save and then open stellaris you will find in the mods it's no longer complaining

or alternatively feel free to replace the file with my attached one

 

for any future releases this only works for v2

sorry i dident know aobut this support i thot that no one hade trubel for i never got a notification sorry for my english i will look here more often and i shall look for more stuff too then i know peppole want it

So i thought this mod would add not one monster girl portrait set but several sets each being different types like one for lamia and one for mermaid not everything in one set.

Are there any plans to do something like that?

mabe it will well take time but i can try to do that
