Custom Follower -> Player (A bit confused)

Yo, been trying to replicate something that I somehow did in oldrim where I was able to control Neisa through Alternate Actors, that doesn't seem like it's working this time around because trying to do so just crashes the game lmao. I was wondering if there was another less buggy way to basically build back up the follower as a seperate mod or import/export to get them on the player character? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm a really stupid person.

Afaik Lazy Followers is one way to create a follower on the fly.

 

Or if you just want her looks for your player (presuming your player is a female of the same race), you can use Copy Character Appearance (has some bugginess but works reasonably well if you deal with the issues that pop up. I have a post in the posts tab (different avatar fwiw) for that mod which might help users of the mod to alleviate some of the more egregious issues)
