Some questions because of mods!

Hi i am forced thx to my bad laptop and grafics card to play ck3 on gforce now. So i would like to ask are any mods on this plattform for ck3 on pdx plaza or steam, so i can play with them over gforce now or am i forced to play wth ck3 mods until i have a better laptop  some day.

It shouldn't really matter, since no Graphics Card company paid Paradox to make their GPU better than the other

yeah i know but pdx support told me my grafic card is too weak because of the integrated grafic card and the deleting highmap "fix" does not work anymore somehow since the first update.

Its surprising to me that, that's your issue, the game isn't really GPU intensive. Most of what slows the game down is having to process the sheer number of calculations that go into it. The paradox developers even mention the need to keep equations more simple in their notes in the code. And I've experienced this myself, I can load 40 character windows on top of eachother with no problems, but I have to be careful not setting up too many equations.

But if pdx support told you that, they are probably right. I can direct you to the file that is most likely to help but I don't necessarily know what you would do to it. In

you should find the settings file "load_settings" this file determines what files are loaded at lower resolution. It seems to be that the numbers refer to the number of mip maps skipped the more negative the number the lower the resolution. I would create a mod create a gfx folder and copy that file into it and play around until you get it to work. Just a guess though.

yeah the rest of my laptop had an upgrade so the crazy thing and i had been suprised too is that my grafic card is too weak its an Intel HD Grafic card xD its somehow crazy because its an onboard card and so my grafics have an issue, its funny because with gforce now the game is running nice. ? - And thx fpr your advice i really have to go into ck3 modding i fear, and try to play with the numbers. I think when the year becomes more quiet i will try to stick into this issue and try to fix it. :))
