heisenbrooke Posted March 9, 2021 Posted March 9, 2021 Not sure if I did something wrong or what, but I can't get any animations packages to work with Sims 4. Up until a few days ago it was fine, and I did admittedly download a couple more script mods and a couple extra animations, but after a decent amount of deletion and redownloading, it seems that the only issue are the animations package files. Even those that were updated last month just won't work right. The issue is that when the animations files are placed in the mod folder, important interactions stop working (mailbox, tv, etc). This usually happens when I have a bad or outdated mod downloaded, but as far as I can tell all of the mods I've downloaded are up to date as of last month. I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong or differently from what I was doing a few days ago. Like I said, if I delete all of the animation package folders, Sims and WW and the other two mods I downloaded seemingly work fine, and I can interact with the mailbox, tv, high chair, and stuff. Any help?

Any help? Place all your animation files into one folder named Wicked Animations. Which animations are you using specifically? What new Script mods did you add? Is your game updated to the latest version 1.71? You can upload your WickedWhimsInfoLog.log file found in your TS4 folder and maybe we can get a better idea of what's going on. Just use the paperclip below or select choose files to attach it here. Do not copy paste the entire contents.
heisenbrooke Posted March 9, 2021 Author Posted March 9, 2021 WickedWhimsInfoLog.logI've attached my info log! I've also included a screen of what my mods folder looks like and the included mods. These should be all that I have - unless I've messed something up somewhere lol My game is updated to the latest version. The script mods I've downloaded are Basemental and Wicked Perversions. Thanks so much for the answer!
heisenbrooke Posted March 9, 2021 Author Posted March 9, 2021 Oh, and I'll try placing the animations packages in their own folder.
heisenbrooke Posted March 9, 2021 Author Posted March 9, 2021 I did have more animations downloaded, but I deleted them trying to figure out exactly which mod was causing the issue.

OK, well far as I know Nisa's Wicked Perversions has not been updated yet for new WW version due to technical problems with uploads. So remove it for now until next update. Then delete your localthumbcache.pkg in your TS4 folder, should always be done when adding or removing mods. Next: Your two files named TURBODRIVER should be in a folder named WickedWhimsMod All Basemental files should be in a folder named Basemental The only single file in mods should be the resource.cfg game file. Whenever you add new cc like makeup, hairstyles, and clothing you should make a new folder named makeup, hairstyles, and clothing to put all of them into. Adding new script mods like MCCC you should also make a named folder for them also. Just good practice for keeping your mods organized and makes it easier to update them and helps prevent getting duplicates later on. Favorite animations of mine...Azmodan22, MOTHERLOADSIMS, Mike24, Grey Naya, and Artemiel.
heisenbrooke Posted March 10, 2021 Author Posted March 10, 2021 So far fixing these small issues seems to have worked. Thank you so much!
