Perk Conditions and the SSE CK

Anyone know what's up with the conditions for SSE perks? The vanilla perk entry conditions don't seem to show up at all, and the ones I apply to my perks don't seem to work as advertised.

Look at the DA04BloodHarvestPerk. That's the one that gives you the "Harvest Blood" prompt for Septimus Signus

There's one entry for each race, but none of the entries show conditions, so why don'#t they apply to everything?

But, if you open it up in zEdit ...

There are all the conditions you'd expect: race, not yet harvested that race, actually dead, etc etc.

Anyone know anything more about this? At the moment I can't tell if my perk isn't working because of a CK bug, or if it isn't working because I'm Doing It Wrong.

Those are Target conditions, your screenshot shows the Perk Owner tab:

Since you didn't post any screenshots of your own conditions I can only guess here: Did you maybe put the conditions which are meant to be checked on the Target onto the Perk Owner tab?

Yeah, probably. I didn't notice the tabs. I've been assuming that "subject" would be the perk owner and "target" the, well, target. That might explain a lot.

Is t his new with SSE? I swear I didn't have this fuss last time I did this.

And thanks. I think I wasted most of yesterday banging my head against this one.

Yep. That looks like it. Boy is my face red.

Run On Target is only really used when it comes to conditions in spells / magic effects. Although for a magic effect the subject also is the targeted entity as the effect gets applied to the target... it's complicated.

Eh, it's years since I did anything with perks. Must have just forgotten.

Oh well, thanks for the help :) ?
