Prank Calls, harmless fun or dangerous psychopaths?

We all know the story of the Indian lady in England who committed suicide over those Aussies pranking her about details about the Duchess.

Anyway.

 

Do you guys think there is.. well, a limit to prank calling?  or do you consider it harmless fun?  Or should it be outlawed/cracked down on?

 

Here are some examples of "fun" prank calls, however, I have listened to some of his others and when it costs companys money by placing fake orders etc.. I think it crosses the line there.

 

Here are 3 Videos I consider harmless, however they may be offensive if you are offended at using foreign accents for comedic effects.

 

 

 

 

There are afew on his channel, and many on others, that capitalise on childish things such as fake orders and cancellation etc.. well that cost people money.

 

But overall, I think if a prank call is not out to make someone suffer financial loss then I dont see the problem.

I haven't made a prank call since I was ten , what kind of "adult" makes prank calls ?

Where is the fun to begin with ? also picking up the phone to ruin someones day by calling his mother or sister names , I don't consider harmless .

Okay I don't like the idea of wasting people's time and money but I love the voices that ownagepranks does, it's one of the best I've seen.

I've pranked called a few times during my  youth, but as an adult I view it as a childish waste of time for myself and the person on the other end.

Emily used to get scammed twice, It was terrible experience. But now she does a lot of fact based conversations and reality check before engaging stranger call on phone.

 

Scam call is common here as well as traveling door to door sales.
