[Small Request] Epic Elves Textures Mismatched

I've recently downloaded the 'Epic Elves' Mod for Skyrim. As much as I love the mod, I've noticed that the Head texture looks great... but the Body texture does not much it, looks bland, and is extremely noticeable in outside light.

I noticed the texture looks rather blurry, too. :/ But that might just be me.

 

Anyways... I would like to ask if anyone who has working textures for the most recent version of the Epic Elves Mod, if they would possibly lend them to me. Or if failing that, help me troubleshoot the issue?

Yeah most custom race mods will have texture matching issues, one exception being Temptress Race. Lovergirls has the neck seam right but the hand seams are jacked up and miscolored. Also, because this is a custome race, Caliente's Texblend won't work on it either.

Really? I've got both the Temptress and the LoversGirls races and I haven't had an issue with either of them texture wise. o_o

 

I wonder if it's an interrupting mod..? I'm honestly not sure. I mean most of the female NPC's in my game have different colored faces compared to their bodies (unless they are mod based NPC's) but I've never really figured out the reason why. And again, no custom races have ad this issue until Epic Elves.

 

There is a difference, though, with my Epic Elves and Female NPC's though; The discoloration is only noticeable outside but looks fine in doors. The Female NPC's that have discoloration just looks like the skin color changed from their body color and is noticeable inside and outside.

 

When I looks closely at the Picture in the OP, either the body or the face gets this 'cartoonish' glow.

You didn't have it while you had CBBE? I'm currently using the most recent version of CBBE so that makes me wonder.

 

In the Epic Elves file, there are textures and meshes for a CBBE version and a UNP version. I've been using the UNP version. Now when you mean when you still used CBBE, did you mean that you where just using the CBBE mod itself or the CBBE textures and Meshes for the Epic Elves?

I didn't use the textures that came with Epic Elves just what came with CBBE more precisely CBBE Curvy. I've never tried Epic Elves with UNP.

 

Let me get it again and see what happens with UNP.

You just want my Textures file or specific ones? If I read that right and you want the whole file I have a lot of mods installed packing the entire file could take a long time 7 gigs worth of textures there.

i think this is a bigger problem than only the textures. i use the epic elves myself and have no problems with the original textures.

Oi. Sometimes I hate my mods and load order.

 

If, one day, I started up Nexus Mod manager, and all of my mods where cleanly uninstalled and deleted.... I would be 100% okay with this. I'd probably do it myself except that, due to Nexus Manager issues in the past, some most mods that are active are labeled as uninstalled. SO, uninstalling all of them would be a pain in my ass.

 

I also don't think I have the heart to do it myself. With about 8 or 9 characters, that's starting over from the bottom. :/ And many of the mods I have are either jerry rigged with digital duct tape or are barely on the edge of working.

I was able to download it.... but the problem still remains. :/

Even than, thank you for the upload. I was able to rule out texture issues.

 

So I'm guessing it's an unrelated mod. Out of my giant mod list, I'd honestly have no idea where to start.

 

One problem is that I'm not sure what texture is having the issues, the Head/Face textures or the Body textures?

I'd give you my load order but I don't use BOSS or Wyrebash so getting it isn't as easy

I never really understood What load order may or may not have to do with it, so you don't need to bother yourself with it. I'm going to trouble shoot some issues based on Face and or Body Texture mods.

 

Edit: Weird. Every time I deactivate a mod, the Epic Elves mod deactivates its own .esp. I didn't install it through Nexus because it was recommended not to. That's just strange.

I was thinking more on the lines of a combination of my mods might be the reason mine looks this way.

 

Example I use UNP/UNPC, EEO, LIFE, Mature Skin Textures etc etc

I'm honestly not looking for looks, as everything up to this race has worked and looks almost the way I've wanted them to. :/

 

If I'm correct, the Epic Elves mod uses it's own everything. Face textures and meshes, and body textures. I'm not sure if any skin mod would affect the texture of the Epic Elves. As far as I know form what I've been using, it doesn't.

OKAY. I think I figured it out.

 

The Elves textures where working fine until I reinstalled the mod "Fair Skin Complextion Sweaty Body".

 

Now that's a damn shame because that's my favorite body texture! X(  

So I'm now caught in between do things; Disable the Body texture and have the Epic Elves texture work, OR don't deactivate it an have great skin for every other race I use, even other custom races still work, at the cost of an extremely noticeable discoloration on a really good custom race.

 

Shit, I haven't had this difficult of a choice since playing the Mass Effect series and the Walking Dead game.

do a copy of your regular texture of female and replace the epic elf ones, i guess its works fine.
