Suggestion for Mods (im completely lost)

Recommended Posts

Just as the title. I just downloaded Skyrim for the first time (better late then never I suppose..). Just because I want to try out all the creative  things the community comes up with.

But there are hundreds. What do I do? Where do I start? I don't wanna do quests, I wanna experience custom nasty things. Any tips?

Graphics mods?

Lewd physics mods?

The down right nasty tasty mods?

Cheers!

Start slow. A guide I use (there a many different ones out there) to build a base build to get the look and feel I want before I download any LL mods can be found at Sinitargaming.com. Again there are a bunch of sites that have good base builds and more advanced ones, there is even one here on LL that I think is for SE. What I like about the guide I linked above is that the author focuses a lot on the backend stuff you have to do in order to have a stable build. He then breaks it down at the end in modules of varying complexity for those who do not want to pick and choose individual mods. I would start there and focus on the stability portion of his guide first. Then pick a base module of his and load the stuff in the order he presents. If you follow the directions well there is a good chance you will have a stable build that looks and plays great. Then I would begin on the stuff here at LL. Starting with the Sexlab Framework, FNIS, some animations, and add a few flavors of the type of kink you are looking for to begin with (there are some excellent posts on here on what to begin with, but it will require some forum searching to find them). DO NOT make the mistake I made, when I first discovered the wonderland that is LL, and try to download everything like a fat kid in a candy store (it will bust your build).

Basic mods / tools:
- SKSE
- XPMSE
- FNIS (done) or Nemesis (wip) - to insert new animations in the game
- Bodyreplacer (CBBE, UNP etc.)
- Armor, clothes for the body replacer
- for personal adjustments to the body and armor - BodySlide with OutfitStudio
- for character creation - RaceMenu or Enhanced Character Edit
- for better graphics - ENB

That would be the basis for everything else, so to speak.

What else you need depends on your personal taste.

Here on Loverslab click on Downloads above. It's all categorized by game, categories, and sub-categories.
It is similar with Nexus.

Most important is.

Read the mod descriptions. In particular, the part of the dependencies and, if available, the compatibility.

There you will find more mods for hairstyles, tattoos but also more important things like stablity tools etc.

Also important:

Skyrim (or Skyrim LE) is NOT Skyrim SE. Do not use mods that are not designed for your version of the game or marked as working.
