Marwyn Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 So i've decided i just want a bit of NSFW Spice in my Modded Game, which started perfectly fine before, and downloaded myself some NSFW Mods. Now, upon trying to check if everything works - tada, obviously it doesn't. The Main Menu flashes me, before the game just closes. Vortex initially told me it was PapyrusUtil, which i downloaded the Oldrim Version for. Removed that, still didn't launch. Now i don't know what else i can do, as i (stupidly) do not remember which mod required Papyrus. Crate123 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 I have to ask the obligatory question, have you run Fnis ? If that doesnt work, try running LOOT to set your load order better.

You should install the latest SE version as a standalone mod and make sure no other mod overwrites it. Several mods come with a version of PU included, in some cases that version is old and outdated, which could prevent the game from starting (some outdated dll files can do, others just render the mod depending on them partially/completely useless). For example Sexlab comes with PU, Campfire and most of Chesko's mods also have PU included and these are really old versions. But Vortex should tell you if there is any dll failing to load (incompatible/outdated dlls).

This one. As any other mod. Nothing special there, just make sure this version is not overwritten by other mods.

If it was my game I would just track back the changes I did prior to having this issue, making sure to undo changes and then I would try to apply newer mods verifying at each step that these are for SE, compatible with the version of the game/SKSE I have and that I meet every requirement. Can you go back to before you installing some NSFW mods? If the PU thing is already solved (because you're using the standalone version or you were using the one from Sexlab before going for the standalone made for SE) then the issue is likely among the mods you just added. Undo these changes and see if it launchs properly. Once you're there you can attempt to install them again, one at a time. And verifying each step and requirement for these mods.

It stopped giving me error reports upon crashing once i removed the PU i downloaded from Loverslab. And, well. Suffice to say i downloaded close to 25 mods in rapid succession. Which was stupid, and this is absolutely on me. Filtering them all out in currently 155 Mods and troubleshooting them would be.. a lot of effort.
