Look, it's the old "OneDrive blocking my game files" issue. Haven't seen that in a while.

 

Anyway, the issue here is that WW can't access the game files in "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4", because OneDrive doesn't permit it.

To fix it, disable OneDrive sync for your Documents folder (detailed steps found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/choose-which-onedrive-folders-to-sync-to-your-computer-98b8b011-8b94-419b-aa95-a14ff2415e85?ui=en-us&rs=en-us&ad=us) and make sure that "Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4" only exists in your local Documents folder (the one that is NOT listed under "OneDrive" in File Explorer).

If you are not actively using OneDrive (and I'd recommend you don't), you might as well disable it completely. Uninstalling won't do much, as Windows just re-installs it again at the next opportunity, but if you uncheck the option to have it launch when your computer starts (also found in OneDrive's settings), it will not bother you any longer.
