CaCO3 Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Greetings, I am new to using skins and bodies in TS4. I am using the Mod from kritical with Eve V6 as Body, but how do I use a skin, that does change the vanilla skin for all (female) sims? I just have skin overlay, which does I have to choose in create a sim. And is every skin compatible with bodies I choose?
BiaX Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Well, it depends on the type of CC you are using. Some successfully and easily manage to adapt to the body you have in the Sim (modifying according to the increase or loss of weight). Others are more limited. I think you're going to have to do the test yourself. Place the CC, create a new save and test the skins. Get fat and thin, put your Sim it in the sun, etc. Personally I don't like skin content (full body) because of that. The chance of you having to deal with errors is very high, and CC overlays can also have high errors. Anyway, I think it gives more headache than anything. But good luck there, I hope the CC works properly and you can use! ?

Most skin overlays are made for maxis match bodies and seem OK with BB Tops and Sopour Allure Tops. But you might notice double nipples or misplaced dark spots. No idea about Eve's as I've never used those. If you want all sims to have the same skin overlay you need to find a default version but don't use more than one. Overlays are safer than regular skins and cause less trouble with cc makeup. Many use the same slot in facial details as Wild Guy's FBD Vagina so they might disable that detail if used.
